Brilliant 'no frills' hotel with helpful staff to match. Rooms are small but adequate as you won't be spending much time in them if you get stuck in to all the tours etc. Breaskfast not amazing but substantial. A twenty minute seaside walk/5 minute bus journey to the centre and a bank, Subway and groceries shop directly opposite. Couple of...

Spending 3 nights at the Hotel Cabin, as other reviewers have said the rooms are quite small but adequate, one word of warning the room doors open outwards so be careful when walking down the corridors

Great hotel as a base to explore Iceland. The staff were really helpful and although the rooms are small, they are very clean and as there is so much to do we just used our room to get the sleep we needed for the next day's advwntures. Wonderful beautiful country

Excellent wee hotel. Clean warm and cosy. Plenty of hot water and quiet ( Dec 2014) Breakfast was ample and coffee to die for..will definitely stay here again. It was a little out of town and a bus stop outside. Across the road was Subway and a Juice bar. and more coffee.

I visited Reykjavik with two friends and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. As other reviews have said, the rooms are pretty small and basic but are kept spotlessly clean and are very warm! The bed was comfortable, and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water whenever I used it. The TV has a couple of English...

Stayed here with two friends for 4 nights, each of us had our own room. The rooms are small and basic but very clean and very warm. The beds were really comfortable (and I'm fussy when it comes to sleeping) and made up each day. I was also given clean towels every day and the shower was nice and hot...

For a budget hotel this was excellent. Very comfortable room. Good choice for breakfast, other basic meals available if you want them. Well situated, walking distance to city centre or bus stop right outside. Rooms are smallish but perfect as you do not want to spend a lot of time in them. Good bar and lounge facilities downstairs. The staff...

Stayed here for my second time for five nights so had some idea as what to expect and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were all friendly and fielded any questions I had, the rooms aren't the biggest but who goes away to sit in their room but they are really nice and warm. Given the snowy weather this was a...
