This is a budget hotel and doesn't make any false claims. I'd read a variety of reviews and didn't really know what to expect. However, the hotel is nice, clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a single room which was small and basic but fine for a few days stay. It's out of town but...

The hotel is easy to get to from the airport, a 25-30min coach trip which you can book at the airport on arrival or in advance. It cost around 2600 ISK. We arrived at 1am and so were very tired. There were four of us in our group and we booked well enough in advance so that the hotel could...

This hotel is very average, it's very small but it's fine. We had a double room that was at the end of a corridor on the 5th floor - it was quiet (apart from the wind) and I was able to sleep fine. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very powerful. Our toilet seat was not attached correctly...

This hotel is fine as a basic, budget option - you get what you pay for springs to mind. The rooms are small and the TVs are old - but you can get some English speaking channels. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy with fresh towels and a good, hot shower. The staff seem nice and are helpful...

We first stayed at the Cabin nearly 14-years ago. Since then it has been extended and 'modernised', and not especially for the best. Our first stay was in a 'standard' room. With no room for two people to walk in the room at the same time we soon realised our mistake. Probably would be an OK choice for a one-night...

Although this is a basic hostel style hotel it was great as a base for our weekend. This is a budget hotel and we only needed a clean bed and bathroom as we were out and about all day. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty to choose from. The sunflower seed rolls were delicious. If you are concerned about how pricey...

Was booked into this hotel by our agent for two nights. Luckily they were too busy for our first night and we ended up staying in a fantastic guesthouse in Vogar.
