A 3 night 4 day holiday to see the Northern Lights and other sites staying at the Hotel Cabin. The hotel is based about a pleasant 20 minute walk from Reykjavik. The hotel is quite basic and after reading reviews we upgraded to a deluxe room and so glad we did. The deluxe room was basic but ok for a...

Friendly staff, clean public rooms. Rooms small, cosy and comfortable ( had one with a window!).Loads of hot water, and some hanging space for clothes. Ok for 3 nights !!. Breakfast was basic, and again adequate. Bar had "happy hour", but had to buy 2 pints of beer to get a reduced price , so left it! Pavements very slippery/...

From the outside this hotel looks really good, you enter the lobby, it's really quite nice, on the landings the doors to the rooms look expensive but when you open them reality hits home. Our room measured about 8' x 7', the gap around the bed was about 1', there is no furniture. Had our room been cheap I would...

No wardrobe but it had hanging space, loads of plug points, television with a selection of channels for most nationalities. The bathroom was good with loads of hot water a a...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and found the Cabin to be perfect for what we needed which was somewhere clean to sleep and have a hot shower. As we were out and about seeing the amazing country we didn't need a fancy hotel as we were hardly there. We booked 3 single rooms and although we...
