I stayed at Hotel Cabin for three nights in Mid Nov travelling with a friend on a weekend break. Great location with a nice stroll along the seafront into town. Breakfast was continental style with fab coffee! Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. As previous reviews have stated, front facing rooms are best with a view of the sea and...

My Fiance & I have just returned from 5 days in Reykjavic, staying at the Cabin Hotel. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff. They were able to help with all questions and requests. They also staff the bar, popping from one to the other as required. The breakfast was cereals, cold meats/cheese...

I thought this hotel catered for our needs wonderfully. We stayed in June this year and really enjoyed our visit. The hotel is only a 20 min walk along a coastal path to the centre of the city and the helpdesk are happy to call taxis for you. There is a Subway shop and garage opposite and a small supermarket...

Had the cheapest kind of room with my boyfriend, the room is so small and it is right in the middle!!! There's only one window and it is facing directly to the corridor, so people could see us from the corridor! that's quite ridiculous! However, staffs were being very nice and the room is pretty clean! I don't think they...

This hotel offers good value in an expensive city. The rooms are small and basic but offer all that is needed for a short stay. The Hotel Cabin is very popular with school groups and can be noisy at times, however this did not stop us getting a good night's sleep.

This hotel is well located on the outskirts of Reykjavik with plenty of free parking but beyond that has little to commend it. Both the exterior and interior of the hotel are bland. We had what was described as a superior room but it was hardly luxurious. The breakfast was adequate but again no more than that. The reception staff...

Nice little hotel, very close to the sea and the city. Nice rooms, but pretty basic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Seems to play host to a lot of school trips so if your not a fan of kids, avoid school holiday time.

There's not a great deal to say about the Cabin, it pretty does exactly what it says on the tin ok. Yes the rooms are very small, but they are comfortable enough with a decent shower and hot water. I only had breakfast here which was fairly limited but nice enough ( pick the breakfast on the 7th floor with...
