Great accommodation will stay again. The staff was friendly and helpful and great location in Central Reykjavik opposite the amazing cathedral church. Recommend you visit the Redursafn. And try the hot dogs.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2017, hotel is in an excellent location perfect for walking around Reykjavik and opposite the stunning hallgrimskirkja church. Rooms were clean, quite small as we were in the loft. Perhaps could do with some better lighting. Free hot drinks available 24/7 which was great when coming in from the...

We have just returned from at three night break in Reykjavik, staying at the Hotel Leifur Eiriksson. It is a no frills hotel, in a great location in the city centre with restaurants and bars on your doorstep with the Hallgrimskirkja church right opposite. The staff were all very helpful and efficient and our check-in was quick and easy. Our...

Just got back from a 5 day trip to Iceland, stayed in the Leifur Eiriksson and couldn't fault one thing. Staff are more than happy to help with anything needed. Great location directly outside the cathedral and in the city centre. The 24 hour free hot drinks was a God send! Could not be happier with our stay.

Definitely a strong sulfur oder from the water lingering in the room and a somewhat broken toilet seat. With that said, as long as you know this is a very basic lodging, the price isn't bad (should be $30 less a night), the...

Stayed your for two nights, hotel is in a great location right opposite the cathedral. The layout of reception/ breakfast room works very well, helps guests too interact, the staff were very friendly and the hotel is very clean. My only negative was that we stayed in an attic room which was very small with limited storage space, also bed...

We only stayed 1 night at Leifur! The hotel is located at a good location, just opposite Hallgrímskirkja! They serve a good variety of breakfast spread and you can make your own waffle :) **Complimentary water, tea and coffee available all day! The staff are friendly and helpful! I remembered during New Year, it was crowded all over and we...
