Great little hotel located right opposite the stunning Hallgrímskirkja, with great views across to it. We were in the building across the road from the main hotel reception and both our rooms looked right onto the church which was brilliant! The rooms were clean, comfy and good sized, though the bathroom was tiny. There are no tea and coffee facilities in... More

This was a bit of a disappointment for us. Had booked this hotel months before our trip, and when we arrived the receptionist didn't find our reservation. Luckily there was few rooms left and we got one. About the room... It was small and dated. Bathroom had a plastic carpet and shower was very old. On the other hand, location... More

Everyone mentions the location - which is great. But I'd add the quality of the staff as a great reason to stay here. Low key and helpful, plus a very nice breakfast. The 24-hr coffee in the breakfast area is a nice touch. Also, check out the little sitting area on the third floor, loaded with books and travel guides... More

Location is fab...opposite the big church. Short walk to all the restaurants...shops... Bars etc Staff were all very helpful & polite Free breakfast & also 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate When we arrived we were upgraded to their apartment which is adjacent to the hotel... This was very spacious & we loved it. The only drawback is at breakfast there is... More

We were accommodated in an annexe across the street from the main block. Wifi was not detectable. Shower had no base to prevent water from flowing across the floor. No hair dryer in the room. No security safe in the room. Would not stay there again.

I agree with almost every other review that I have read here. If you are looking for an extremely convenient and pleasant location, I can highly recommend this hotel to you and I can confirm what most other people have said about the very friendly and helpful hotel staff. However, if you opt for this hotel, you must be prepared... More

We've stayed in this hotel on both of our visits to Reykjavik and have nothing but positive things to say. The location is superb and the view of Hallgrímskirkja from our bedroom was beautiful. It's only a few minutes walk to the very heart of Reykjavik and is just far enough out of the centre that it's quiet at night.... More

This hotel has an amazing location, right in front of Hallgrímskirkja church. You can walk to pretty much every points of interest in Reykjavik (shops, restaurants, tourist-bus stations). The downside is that you have to cope with very tiny and basic rooms, even more if you are on the last floor which is basically the attic (you'll have to be... More

Pretty basic. Stayed opposite the hotel. Minute bathroom - know quite a few people who wouldn't even fit into it :). Otherwise clean and very central. Literally step outside and into Hallgrimskirka. Good shops closeby.
