Nice little hotel, great location and neighborhood, comfortable lobby with coffee and breakfast. I arrived very early, 8 am but was allowed checkin anyway. And I was grateful to find that after driving 10 hours one day and arriving back around midnight, that I could buy a few beers at the desk. Cannot comment on the main building, I stayed...

We found this hotel to be conveniently situated for the amenities of Reykjavik. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was small but more than adequate for a short stay, however the ensuite facilities were cosy! Because if it's situation, it was inclined to be noisy at night. Breakfast was continental style, rather busy at times but...

We have just returned from a short visit to Iceland. This hotel couldn't have been better. A fabulous location opposite the most wonderful church, with restaurants, shops etc on the doorstep. The room and bathroom were rather small and could have done with a lick of paint, but it was all very clean and lovely and warm. The breakfast was adequate....

Dear Susieesmith, Your review could not have come at a better time! We are in fact right now with 2 painters in house full time - giving the rooms and public areas of the hotel some new paint and updated features. We look forward to welcome you back one day so you can see it! Best wishes - Team Leifur

The Leifur Eiriksson was chosen for us as part of a long weekend organised by Tour.is, and we are so glad it was! The room was clean and warm with comfortable beds; we didn't specify a double bed and were given two singles, but we pushed them together and came back the next evening to find they'd been made up...

We stayed at Hotel Leifur Eriksson between 24th and 28th April 2015. We found the hotel to be a great little hotel which was situated right opposite the fantastic Hallgrimskirkja Church. It is close to the city centre and all amenities (including galleries and shops). Our room (no 205) was comfortable and clean although a bit small but equipped with...

I stayed here on 24th April and was very pleased. I had emailed prior to our visit regarding my mother's mobility problem and they made sure we had a ground floor room and confirmed this by email. The staff were very friendly polite and helpful. There were plenty of information leaflets in reception. The hotel is basic but clean and...

We stayed in room 203 in the main hotel and was pleasantly surprised! The room was on the small side but had a good feel to it. The breakfast was delightful. It was a self service breakfast with lots of choice! There weren't any tea/coffee facilities in the room but there was a 24hr coffee machine and tea facilities in...

We arrived very late at the hotel as our original flight was cancel due to a strong winds and bad weather. There were two separate buildings belonging to the same hotel .One has the reception and the breakfast area and the other has rooms only. We were guided to the building with the rooms only. The room was very clean...

Really well located. Clean and very basic but most importantly well heated room!! Just opposite one of the main attraction of Reykjavik and at the top of one of the Main Street. There is a typical Icelandic indoor pool / open air hot bath 5 minutes away which was a very pleasant find ! Reykjavik roasters is 2 minutes away...

Had a room at the top, which unfortunately had half the roof juttting into it. It was basic with a small bed, cheap wardrobe and a desk. No comfortable chairs to sit in. Beware, there is no lift. The shower room was less than clean and I would say the room needed a revamp, including a larger TV and channels...

Dear Jules2641970, Thank you for taking the time to review the Hotel Leifur Eiriksson. We value your feedback regarding the rooms and the complimentary breakfast offered at this hotel.
