We stayed for one night upon arrival in Reykjavik. We arrived early in the morning and were allowed to store our bags without our room being ready. We were given good information on the town, what to see and where to eat. When we checked in, it was just as easy. Really friendly staff. The room was a good size...

One needs help to find hotel Odinsve as it is located is a small street and even the locals are not familiar with the hotel. Actually, when one stands in front of the building, it rather looks like a restaurant.or pub than like a hotel. But the rooms are surprisingly clean and comfortable. And the staff is super friendly and...

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. It is in a great location for all the sights in Reykjavik - everything can be accessed on foot. The hotel check in was very efficient and the room we had was spotlessly clean. We were quite lucky as we got a spacious room - I did see inside a...

This hotel was perfect! Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights. Location was great - just a 5 minute walk to the town where the shops, restaurants and bars were. There was also a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away if you wanted to grab some nibbles. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely...

Location: We were able to walk to everything in Reykjavik in around 10 minutes, so the location is perfect. We stayed in the apartments, which are a 3 minute walk away from the main hotel. Room: Staying in an apartment with our couple friends (as opposed to two separate rooms) was a major win! We had individual bedrooms, but also...

Just a one night stay, which we wish could have been more. The front of house and restaurant staff are highly motivated and seem proud of where they work - Hotel Odinsve was recommended by a friend who stayed there last year, and delighted to say that the overall standard, and amenities of the guest room exceeded our expectations.

Stayed for 5 nights in March 2017. I can only reiterate what the previous positive posters have said. LOCATION - you are literally in the town centre, 5 minute walk to the waterside (Sun Voyager) and surrounded by shops and eateries. Perfect. SERVICE - all staff speak excellent English and will go above and beyond to help. I broke my...

We booked two apartments for eight people. We had 602 and 502 which I believe are the bigger of the four apartments. Size is great with a large lounge area. The kitchen is well equipt. Seating in 502 much more comfortable than 602. There is no lift, but we did not find this a problem. The double room has a...

The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent but like all of Iceland very expensive!! I would definitely visit again if returning to...

My husband and I just returned from a three-night stay at Odinsve and we cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are a fair size, bright and modern with all the amenities - no need to take any toiletries with you. The staff were so helpful and friendly from start to finish. The hotel is in the perfect location, right in...
