From check in to check out we could not fault the hotel. The staff on reception were always friendly and welcoming, whether checking-in in the middle of the day or arriving back from the northern lights at almost 1 in the morning. The room was comfortable with full English satellite TV. The bathroom was compact but both rooms were always...

The hotel is very centrally located which is good in cold weather when you might like to go back and make a cup of coffee or tea. The rooms also have a fridge. The breakfast buffet is seriously good and if you book early (as we did) the hotel is really good value. The staff are efficient and helpful -...

This hotel is in a great location. The front desk staff is very helpful and there is a restaurant/bar attached that was always busy, served wonderful meals and their cocktails are fantastic. I was a solo traveler and it was a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, water smells like sulfur but that's OK! It's like that all...

We had a lovely stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was cosy and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfy, with big fluffy duvets - my only gripe was that our double was two single beds (and single duvets!) pushed together. It's in a really ideal location for pottering around Reykjavik but it is also...

Close enough to the center to walk in 2 minutes but far enough out that you don't get kept awake all night by fun loving drunks. Was clean and friendly we didn't try the food there as we had bed only. Reception sorted out our bus trips to see things would happy go there again

Our flight landed at 3.00 we had arranged to do a stop off at the Blue Lacoon a great start to our Icelandic Adventure. We arrived at the hotel at 7.00 to a very warm welcome, our room was 115 , a comfortable size. It was very hot as central heating is very good if you opened the windows you...

The hotel was just where it needed to be in the center of town. Lots of bars and restaurants near by, so the location is fantastic. Breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, so no problems there either. I slept really well each night, the bed was comfortable and had good quality linen On the minus side the rooms were...

We were lucky to find such a great hotel on Expedia (with a deal!) that is ideally located just about a 5 minute walk from downtown Reykjavik (but not noisy which was surprising!) Upon arrival to the airport - almost all the major bus lines travelled straight to the hotel. Check in was quick, and they were able to hold...

The people in the reception were friendly. The rooms were nice and clean with everything you need. The breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, youghurt, fruit, bread, cheese, waffles a.s.o. Very delicious!! We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was fantastic and so was the service. We had a fantastic waiter (a young guy with...

We stayed here in Feb 2016. The hotel is lovely and very convenient for walking into the city. The room were lovely and warm and very clean. The tea and coffee facilities were nice to have. We booked breakfast which is served in the attached restaurant and was very nice. The only criticism I have is that the Snaps restaurant...
