Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Reykjavik EDITION captivates guests with its modern, stylish rooms and a plethora of amenities including a luxurious spa and a well-equipped gym, though some guests note the rooms can feel snug and dimly lit. Nestled in a prime location, this hotel's proximity to must-see attractions makes it a perfect spot for city exploration. While the Nordic-inspired atmosphere and spotless environment earn high marks, opinions on value differ, with some travelers feeling the cost outweighs the benefits. Service is typically regarded as top-notch, albeit with occasional lapses.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff the spa. My wife got injured and they accommodated us with everything under the sun including a wheelchair to do some sight seeing! I am so grateful to everyone here. Without you all, this trip would have been impossible! Will stay again. Also the spa was gorgeous and rejuvenating after that red eye from the US.

The bedrooms and staff were amazing. The facility is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Jane and Kyle really made our experience exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland. This was my first time in Iceland and I’ll definitely be back.

Excellent in every way! Our Bonvoy titanium status was recognized and we used our suite upgrades for a beautiful Harborview suite. From check-in to check out, the staff was exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, professional and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. From the front desk, to the concierge, to housekeeping and the café, we were greeted with professionalism and kindness. First trip to Iceland, loved every minute. This property shines as bright as the northern lights on a clear day!

Just an outstanding stay. Beautiful room, attentive staff that was friendly, cool bar and coffee shop, amazing location. One of my favorite hotel stays ever. Even items that could have been lesser like the sandwich in the coffee shop were excellent.

This is a beautiful hotel right near the waterfront. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. Loved the two bars and they have a nice size gym. Can’t say enough about it how nice this place is. My only suggestion is to make sure the thermostats go down lower. Room was a little warm for my liking.

The hotel is beautiful, it has a very nice restaurant and cafe. The lobby bar is also very nice! The staff were amazing, everyone was friendly and and helpful. Upon check in we realized the room we booked was too small for our family. Christina assisted in getting us a bigger room and (at the front desk) went above and beyond to make our vacation amazing during our stay! She went out of her way to greet us each day she saw us. The concierge was also incredibly helpful when we learned our Blue Lagoon tour had been canceled. He assisted in booking a different geothermal spa, which turned out to be AMAZING. He also assisted in booking us a car and had it delivered to the hotel. I will definitely stay at the Edition again, knowing the people there really care about the guest experience!!

This is a gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous location on the water's edge with a fabulous view overlooking the Harpa concert hall and the port. The hotel has a very comfortable but also very chill vibe, including a circular open fireplace in the lobby. The staff are very friendly the facilities feature a very spacious sauna/steamroom/spa area. The restaurant has some of the best food in Reykjavik. It's not cheap, but it's really worth it.

A spectacular hotel. The staff, especially at the front desk, were 6 stars. No detail was left unattended. The room overlooking the harbor was amazing. We only had breakfast at Tides but the food and wait staff were excellent. My only criticism is the driveway/entrance to the hotel. Drop off and valet is chaos due to small space and poor design.

Our experience at the Edition was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had as a family. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. From giving us a tour of the views from the roof deck to helping with late checkout and bags to giving us recommendations of places to visit and see once we left Reykjavík, the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were amazing, and the entire facility was fantastic. We’ve traveled to dozens of countries and stayed at countless hotels, and the Edition Reykjavik has set a new bar. We’re already planning a new trip back to Iceland to stay there again!

This hotel is absolutely perfect. There’s nothing negative I can say. It’s walking distance to restaurants, entertainment and right on the harbor! The customer service was outstanding. The hotel is so well maintained, extremely clean and so relaxing. The garage parking is super convenient and Tides restaurant is out of this world delicious! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Edition, keep doing what you are doing! It’s definitely a 10 out of 10 for us.
