Nestled in a prime location, the Iceland Parliament Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, is celebrated for its proximity to local attractions and dining options, offering guests the utmost convenience. The hotel's spa, modern aesthetic, and delicious breakfast are particularly lauded, contributing significantly to a luxurious experience. Rooms at the hotel are noted for their style and comfort, with cleanliness being a standout feature. While the ambiance is modern and opulent, some guests express concerns over the value, pointing to costly parking and beverage options as drawbacks. Note that the hotel is not clearly marked in large letters like other nearby hotels are. The Hilton is across the courtyard from Apotek and Hotel Borg. GPS does not quite get you to the building. We found a small parking lot behind the hotel that had about 15 spaces and parked there for the 3 hour maximum while we checked in and rested up a bit. Then we drove around to explore a bit and ended up parking in the "city lot" the hotel recommended which was near the waterfront and not too far away. Parking in this area is not fun. The location is excellent. So many places you can walk to. We had a dormer window room and it was nice and spacious. USB ports! Thank you! other hotels we stayed at in Iceland did not have these. Easy thermostat. Room had a closet, mini fridge, ironing board and iron, and robes and slippers. There was a kettle and also an espresso maker. Desk and a chair. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good with storage space and blow dryer. Shower was large and had a door (not all European showers have doors). The water did not really get as hot as I would have liked. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Liquid soap and location were by the sink. Nice big vanity area. The breakfast buffet was pricey but good and even included prosecco. We enjoyed it the one day we had breakfast here. We also stayed at Apotek for our last night, and we prefer the newness of the Hilton (prices were too high for the one night at Hilton). If you need to do laundry, the hotel has a service. We opted to go to Laundromat Cafe and have breakfast while our laundry was being done in their basement. Liked this hotel and would stay here again.

Property's Favourite Review
We stayed for 3 nights into this newly opened property. The location is extremely convenient, right in the city centre, next to the parliament building. We enjoyed their beautiful spa with heated water pool, sauna and steam room. The rooms are designed with good taste and the hotel is very charming in its way. We loved the dinner we had at Hjá Jóni where we were welcome by Dominica (I guess), a lovely girl from Slovenia. The food was good and the service was of a good quality! The reception is very modern and apparently they have a considerable exhibition of modern Icelandic art. It fits very well with the hotel. Additionally, the drinks that they served at the bar were very nice.

Having just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel, I cannot sing its praises loud enough! The staff, without exception, were so helpful, always going above and beyond. Every space in the hotel was always impeccably clean, everywhere was always lovely and warm, the food in the restaurant was fabulous…. the breakfasts are amazing! And the hotel made a wonderful fuss of my elderly mother who celebrated her birthday during our stay!! Thank you @Hilton for really enhancing our visit to Reykjavik. We will absolutely be returning!

Beware if you are booking this hotel!!!! A few days ago I booked the family connecting room. I received an email confirmation and everything (attached). Today, I attempted to add more dates to the reservation. When I went into my reservation on the website I noticed that the room was different. I quickly opened up a chat and started talking to one of their representatives. She informed me that the family connected room was no longer available. It was so infuriating. Thank god I discovered it when I did and not at check-in time. I had to cancel the entire reservation and look for another hotel.

Ideally situated for exploring the sites in central Reykjavík. My junior suite was well appointed and had a beautiful of a central square in front of the Icelandic Parliament. Numerous great restaurants and shops were within an easy walk, and the pick up point for bus tours and the airport shuttle was a block away. The free cooked to order and continental breakfast for guests was top notch. I was 100% satisfied with everything about this hotel.

Perfectly located with all major city needs (shops, restaurants, bus stops) within east walking distance. Most staff helpful but some a bit standoffish. Spent a little too much time with elevators out of service, exterior doors locked, spa not well staffed, layout confusing. Rooms very clean with everything you need. Hotel lobby quite gorgeous without being over the top. They match online prices which is a nice bonus. Overall quite a nice stay.

Lovely hotel - so clean and fresh. A better location is not possible to find. The staff was very professional, they went beyond in assisting us with out requests and questions , so welcoming. The most commutable beds, I will have to get that mattress. The breakfast s fantastic and the restaurant Hjá Jóni, highly recommended.

my daughter decided to get married in Iceland on Jan 2nd...everyone but her and I were going on a sightseeing adventure so she arranged a father/daughter massage at this hotel. We got there and were told that they only had one massage therapist and we would have to go back to back...for an 80 minute massage. That was not going to happen. She was very upset because she had checked a couple of times after our arrival to make sure we were good. After the receptionist at the spa told us the news I told her how unhappy I was and I did not lose my temper. i told my daughter to enjoy the massage and I went upstairs looking for management. The guy at the reception desk tried to call her but she didn't show. He took me to the bar and told the bartender to give me drinks. The thing that made me very upset was that I could tell no one we talked to cared at all....you can tell in their faces....and the manager never approached either one of us to show concern. I dont know a bout the hotel itself but I can tell you the management lacked empathy or the ability to handle a tricky situation. on a positive note the bar tender Claudio was terrific.

New hotel in an excellent location. 3 minute walk to the world famous hot dog stand, and about 5 minutes to Rainbow Road. 2 minute walk to Bus Stop 1, so easy pick-up location for tours out of the city. This hotel also has a fantastic spa with heated pool, steam room, cold mist shower, and sauna. Gold Hilton members also get a complimentary champagne breakfast every morning. Can't go wrong with this choice.

The hotel was perfect for visiting Iceland. Clean, new, with sleek decor. It was actually prefect for the rate and this type of trip. As a Hilton gold member, I had access to the spa amenities and daily breakfast. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would note would be the lack of air conditioning controls in the room. I don’t think you can control your ac/ heat as the room only had a thermostat that you can raise up or down but couldn’t select cold or hot. The room did get stuffy at night so we had to open the window for air. Also my room faced the wall. There was absolutely nothing to look at other than a concrete wall. Other than that, our stay was great and the price was very reasonable. I booked a massage the last day of my stay and I enjoyed the spa offerings.
