Think mid priced Quality Inn or Holiday Inn Express, for level of furnishings. Great location, but there are also 30 others within the distance of a solidly struck 4-iron.

I arrived several hours before check-in (red-eye flight), but the desk staff, always friendly and exceedingly helpful, found me an available and upgraded room early, which was greatly appreciated. I knew there was luggage storage service, but I was happy not to have to use...More

We booked this hotel as an option with an Icelandair package. Once we got over the initial surprise of the basic decor and smallness of the room, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel (Room 511) We arrived around 10 a.m. knowing that early check-in...More
Booked hotel as part of an Icelandair package. An average 3-star hotel with some furniture from the '70s IKEA catalogue thrown in. The rooms are quiet though and the bed is comfy. Breakfast is a huge bonus and the location is close to the centre...More

Hello Carly,
Our Quadruple rooms are a common room with a double or twin bed and a separate bedroom with a double or twin bed. The bedroom is entered through the common room.
Our family standard room has a common room with a sofa that can be made into a pull out bed and two separate bedrooms, one of which has a double/twin bed and the other has bunk beds. Each bedroom has more privacy than the quadruple so it mostly depends on your groups preference. If it is two couples traveling together we can also just recommend getting two separate standard double rooms and we would be happy to place you in rooms next to each other if requested.
Hope that helps but if you have any follow up questions then please don't hesitate to contact us. You can reach us here or at baron@fosshotel.is.

Hi there, I think it is double beds only but they are in fact a double bed frame with 2 single mattresses and single duvets as I believe is a somewhat traditional thing. I am not 100% on this but led to believe this is the case from other guests I spoke to.
I hope this helps.
