I had a very nice stay at Hotel Hilda. The staff was nice and accommodating and the room was clean. Hotel Hilda is in a good location only a couple blocks away from the city center. There was a free breakfast and the room had a private bath. Note: parking is not free and must be renewed each day. Upon...

We didn't actually stay at Hotel Hilda, but we were in desperate need for wifi to get into our actual accommodations elsewhere and the receptionist at Hotel Hilda was kind enough to let us use their wifi. We were able to sort everything out thanks to her! Just wanted to leave a note sharing our gratitude!

Close walking distance to the harbor and for much of the city. Good euro breakfast at the hotel and restaurants close buy. The hotel has been nicely updated. Rooms are your typical quaint European style. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Made a weekend trip to Iceland, and we just wanted to have a base to stay over night; leaving in the mornings and returning for the night. The hotel is very cozy, and has a great location: only 5 minutes walk to the main street with several restaurants fro dinner. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast included and has...

The Hotel Hilda is on a quiet street, within 2-3 minutes walk of the city centre. The hotel itself was spotless, with warm and cosy en-suite rooms. (ensuite rooms are quite a rarity in smaller Reykjavik hotels) The breakfasts were varied and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Take a travel sink plug as there are none in the...

This hotel is in a great location not too far from the harbour, its great value for money when you consider the prices of everything else in Reyjavik. Breakfast is from 7am until 10am a good selection of bread, cheese, meats, eggs, yoghurts, fruit and pastries. They will make a packed breakfast should you wish to leave early. the rooms...

Hotel Hilda is a very cute hotel located in a very convenient part of town. There is ample parking, nice amenities and comfortable rooms. Works just perfectly for a base of operations while exploring Southwestern Iceland!

The location was wonderful and the beds were the most comfortable of any place we stayed during our trip. We liked the small hotel feel and the breakfast was sufficient. We never had trouble getting seats for breakfast despite the small room. The bedrooms were pretty tight for the two of us and our carry-on sized suitcases, but we liked...

Hotel Hilda is a very cosy B & B situated on a quiet side street just a short walk from the centre of Reykjavik, with very pleasant helpful welcoming staff. We booked a double room that was quite small but very warm and cosy, bed was very comfy with lovely thick duvets, shower room was small but the shower was...

It's main advantage is certainly the central and absolutely quiet location in a side street in a residential area, a 3 minutes' walk from the Tourist information, and maybe a 5-10 minutes' walk from the "Harpa". Staff were very friendly, helpful and forthcoming - maybe not that experienced in tourism (they have students at the reception, at least during night)....
