This hotel is located next to a busy little street with many bars and restaurants. You can easily explore the city by feet from here. The hotel rents some parkings, otherwise it's hard to find a spot close by. We parked our car at the old harbour, from there it was 5 minutes by feet, which was also no problem....

When we arrived we were told we had been 'upgraded' to an apartment. My husband and I were divided on this. He was really happy at the extra space but I do like a hotel and I just felt that if I wanted an apartment I would have looked to book one. The one major advantage of this in the...

Stayed at Hotel Fron during a one night stopover in Iceland. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and a good experience at the hotel. The main selling point for the hotel is the suburb location, located right on one of the major roads in downtown Reykjavik near shopping, restaurants and bars. That being said, ask for a room on...

Hotel fron, oh wow where do I even start?! I'll start by saying you have to stay here, it lived up to every expectation I had and I'm so fussy! We arrived in Iceland on the 10th of April, we boarded the Reykjavik express bus to the City which cost around £80 for two of us round trip so pre...

Hotel Fron is a lovely hotel. We stayed on the fourth floor and had a magnificent view of the famous church. It is so cold outside the relief of a very warm hotel room is most welcoming. The geothermal water ensures complete warmth throughout the Icelands homes and buildings. The room was spacious and clean. We had a nice living...

Great location on the main street with lots of bars, restaurants, shopping closeby but no street noise from our room at the back. Lovely heating in the bathroom and possible to control room heating so you can turn it down at night. Easy walk to all attractions. All tours pick up from outside and you can wait in the foyer...

I arrived in Reykjavik a few days prior to our departure, so I'd have a few days to explore the city on my own. I really had no idea where to stay, and came across Hotel Fron during my internet searching. All the reviews said it had an excellent location - so, is there anything more that I could ask...

Hotel Fron is super convenient being in a very central location it is really affordable. Room was nice and big! We even had a little kitchenette and balcony which we were not expecting. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was good and varied. In all a really pleasant five night stay.

Hotel Fron was recommended by our booking agent and it didn’t really disappoint. Located on the Laugavegur which is the main one-way commercial street in the city. The hotel is nearer the old city end of Laugavegur. My Sister and I were booked into a standard room with twin beds. From the previous reviews on TripAdvisor I emailed the hotel...
