Where do I start. Had an awesome new years stay here. Very clean and we'll looked after. Food is great and the room are also very good. A perfect place to base yourself from. Iceland is very expensive but well worth doing. Budget on about £150 per day for a couple. If staying during a local holiday it's best to...

We got a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 people (including a couple) and the size was great. Very modern and clean. The location is really great and very convenient, especially for first-time visitors. Some of the people at the desk were very helpful and gave great tips, but a few were pretty unfriendly and did not provide any help. Nice...

Great location - right in the thick of it, we could easily walk out the hotel and wander around the city and harbour - everything on our doorstep. Having noticed comments on here regarding noise from the bars etc, we had no problem with this as most places were shut at Christmas! We didn't really expect much but were pleasantly...

The room we got is absolutely amazing and the largest we have ever had in Europe. The staff is great and it is centrally located. Easy to get to and get tours from. They have a nice breakfast in the morning and tons of shops and food options close by. Highly recommended!

We stayed 5 nights December 2015. Excellent location in the heart of Reykavik on the main shopping street. Rooms and bathrooms very clean, warm and well kept. Towels replaced and room cleaned up daily. Staff were helpful and always happy to give advice. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular but enough choice. Rooms are on the small side not quite like...

We stayed at the Fron for 5 nights mid December. The hotel is in a great location as it is situated right in the middle of the main shopping area so within walking distance of all the local museums, churches and shops. We stayed in the annexe of the hotel and found it very quiet and comfortable. The room had...

Located on the main shopping street with plenty of choices for food and drink. Good base to explore city from as everywhere is within walking distance. Breakfast had plenty of choices and although it was very busy, the food was continually replenished. The room was big for a city hotel and was nice and warm.

Stayed for 5 nights at the Hotel Fron and the location is great. The hotel is centrally located on the main shopping street and is within close walking distance of all major attractions in Reykjavik. I arrived early on a Sunday morning after an overnight international flight and was allowed to check in early. I was assigned room 201 and...
