This hotel is fantastic value for money. Stayed here on two occasions. Rooms were large and tastefully decorated and the beds were a dream! Breakfast is served from 6.30-10.30 and was plentiful and fresh. The hotel is very central and all the main sites are close by. We would definitely stay here again. Iceland is amazing by the way!

Read lots of reviews before travelling and was worried about noise,so I emailed the hotel requesting a room to the rear. Room was really good with a small kitchen. The problem we had with noise though was not the street but fellow guests running along metal walk ways at 6am to get to the lift. Maybe some general courtesy signs...

We landed in Iceland at 4am knowing full well we likely wouldn't be able to get into our room at Fron. We arrived early and someone was asleep on the couch so they're used to all sorts of comings and goings! The staff helped us figure out hoe to use the parking meter, they stored our bag, and gave us...

We had 3 nights here and as we were 2 couples travelling together we had a double room apartment at the back of the hotel. It was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but adequate for the price. The restaurant and bar was a great place to eat or have a drink and the staff were all friendly...

This is the best location in Reykyavik but the room was very grotty. Terrible tv reception. Chipped tiles in the bathroom. Chipped table. A flight of stairs after the lift. Dark , grungy room. Fortunately they didn't take cash for an "upgrade" What worried me was if there were a fire .. no escape. High window on one side and...

The location of Hotel Fron couldn't be better. Right in the centre of Reykjavik and perfect for sightseeing in the city and also for tour pick ups. Breakfast was a cold buffet which meant you could be as quick as you needed to and the restaurant was good for dinner too. They also quite happily made us sandwiches to take...

We stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Fron and I can't say enough good things about it. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. The staff were all very friendly and, when needed, very helpful and informative - nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were clean, tidy and very comfortable. Our rooms were at the back...

Returned from Iceland last night and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is perfect- right in the middle of the main shopping and restaurant street. The room was warm and cosy and had just enough space for the two of us, it also included good wifi and a free safe. Breakfast was included. This consisted of cereals, bread, fruit,...

We arrived in Reykjavik on a cold wet miserable day, but life improved when we arrived at Hotel Fron. Our room was cosy and had all we needed for our 3 day stay. Very central so it was easy to walk to any attractions and we could be collected for our island tour or the Flybus at the corner. Good...
