We made a reservation via Booking approximately 10 days in advance. The owners cancelled the reservation on the same day we were checking in (we were actually driving towards the guesthouse when we got the email). We were notified via Booking, and no explanation was provided. This is not an acceptable customer service. This may be a one off incident,...

Just a 10 minute walk to downtown, Baldursbra is conveniently located. Evelyne is charming and helpful. Basic Icelandic breakfast includes cold cuts, cheeses, Skyr, breads and cereals. Hot tub n the back yard. 2 darling dachshunds sit around watching guests. Have been to Reyjka several times and prefer this guesthouse. Would stay here again.

Baldursbra is located in one of my favorite parts of Reykjavik - a 5-minute walk to the main areas, but, quiet enough at night. Tour groups also pick-up at the guesthouse. The house is charming, run by Evelyne, her husband, and two adorable dachsunds! Nothing fancy, but, it feels like a home (Evelyne is French). My room was a small...

Guest house is an easy walk from the BSI bus station, and also perfectly located for Hallgrimkirkja just up the road and the town centre. Had a smallish loft room, but perfectly adequate and very clean, warm and comfortable. Access was via the garden, and no boots, shoes allowed in any of the accommodation areas (quite a good rule for...

There is a common room downstairs and a dining room where an excellent breakfast is served. outside there is a seating area and other amenities I did not explore due to the...

This guesthouse is located in a great location, just outside of the main center but in very close walking distance. Its one a quiet street with parking available and just 5-10 minutes away from Hallgrimskirkja and the harbor by foot. The guesthouse itself is clean and comfortable. There are shared bathrooms on each floor but we never had to wait...

Rooms are very big and wifi is working pretty well. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing as not rich as many other place we have been during our 2...
