Stayed here for 4 nights last week and couldn't fault the hotel. Clean rooms, good wifi and nice breakfast. Needed extra pillows as the one which you get isn't much of a pillow! But i asked for extra and they provided them no problem. Location is perfect, right next to the church and in a good spot in downtown Reykjavik... More

The Guesthouse Sunna is clean, efficient, conveniently-located near the Hallgrímskirkja Church and opposite a lovely little park containing impressive Icelandic sculptures. My first night was spent in a ground-floor room which, being alongside a busy road, was a little noisy, but all was well once I found my earplugs. On arrival the first day I was greeted by a lovely... More

Stayed for 3 nights, friendly service, good Wi-Fi, nice breakfast and free parking.Very good location, 5min walk to the main street with lot of shops and restaurants.Reasonably priced considering the price level in Reykjavik, shared toilet and shower(free shampoo from the reception)but did not once had to wait.Had an early check-out 5.15 and they made breakfast ready just for me,... Sunna Guesthouse is a great launching spot for a Reykjavik adventure. It is located in the shadow of the famed Hallgrimskirkja church. It was very easy to get a bus at the airport that drops you off right at the front door. The room was very clean and spacious. The room had a modern bathroom that was very clean. There... More

we stayed our first night there and our last night of a 14 day trip. It is very central to everything you need. There is a small park and hallgrimskirkja to walk around. Our first day the staff pointed us in the direction of a bakery which was good. Our room was tight with two pull in beds and a... More

I stayed at Sunna for a week in a single bedroom with shared bathroom. The bedroom was very simple but perfectly comfortable and clean. I was fortunate enough to have a view to Hallgrimskirja! The bathroom was always clean and I didn't need to wait once to have access. The friendly and always cheerful staff served home baked bread for... More

We came to Iceland for a week vacation. We chose Sunna because of the reasonable price, complimentary breakfast and proximity to downtown. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Immaculate facilities, helpful and friendly staff, and a short walk to all the shops and activities downtown. ( if you stay any closer, you'll get bar noise at night! )

Stayed here with my girlfriend as we attended the music festival Iceland Airwaves. Room had a sink and small organIzer for clothes. Landry facility is on site and coins can be purchased with a Credit card at front desk. The included breakfast and location were amazing, would recommend to stay.

We stayed at Sunna for a week during our time in Iceland and everything was excellent. The breakfast was varied and delicious. You should be aware that I haven't noticed bacon being served for breakfast in Icelandic hotels - the meat selection seems to always be cold cuts. Sunna also has an affordable laundry room that came in very useful,... More

Under other circumstances I might give this guest house only three stars. It is a typical north European budget hotel, either private or shared bath, very plain accommodations and very clean. However the location is near the large church, and central to almost everything. A few blocks away are shopping and restaurants, and it's an easy walk to the harbor.... More
