I stayed two nights here before leaving Iceland. I liked the central location in that I could wander downtown and walk to the station to catch my bus to the airport. Breakfast was great and the place was quaint. Only minus is that there is not an elevator, so I had to lug my baggage up several flights of stairs.

I've stayed Anna's on four trips to Iceland and Anna has become an integral part of my travels there. Anna is a gracious host and her guesthouse feels like home. The Guesthose is centrally located with tourist facilities and restaurants an easy walk. Important to my trips, the BSI terminal is just across the street. Anna is gracious host in...

Room were horrible. Blinds did not block sun out at all. Basically was sleeping in bright day light. Breakfast was bad and if you showed up late, Anna said sorry and wouldn't put out more. Would defiantly not recommend this place to anyone.

I don't need "200 characters minimum" to make the point that I will stop in Iceland and stay at this welcoming home every time I go to Europe and maybe just go just as far as Iceland. Do you remember in Peggy Sue got married" when she dreams of seeing her Granny again and has a blissful night's sleep? Well...

It has been 7 months and I am so glad to find another friend to travel to Iceland because I do intend to make Anna's my base. She is just charming, the bedding and cleanliness and simply perfect, and this from a Marriott Platinum traveler. There is so much to do incountry. I had been flyfishing and living in a...

A perfect stay in Reykjavik. Anna is a very warm and welcoming hostess, and one feels like a guest in her home. The other staff is also very nice. The rooms was nice and bright. Even the shared bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was perfect - the surroundings was so nice, just as an english country house, even with a...

Top-notch accommodations, excellent breakfast, brilliant hospitality. Stayed here in 2003, 2005, 2011, and visited briefly, as they are personal friends, in 2013, as I was out in the field for a month, and couldn't stay due to my own standards for not coming out of the bush and into polite society. Marvelous people, wonderful property. If there is availability, stay...

We are just back from a wonderful trip in Iceland and we stayed at Anna's guesthouse when we were in Reykjavik. Anna is extremely friendly and we really felt at home in this beautiful house. She has been extremely flexible as well to prepare breakfast as we had to leave early for excursions during the day. The location is extremely...
