The Hilton Nordica just outside the core of Reykjavik has so much going for it, although a quiet night's sleep is definitely not one of them. First, the main restaurant, Vox, is one of the top restaurants in the entire country of Iceland. The breakfast buffet and dinners are served at Vox. The service and quality of food are innovative,...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights over Easter weekend booked via secret escapes. The hotel was perfect for our needs. We arrived early & unfirtunately our room wasnt ready, fortunately we had access to the clb lounge included included so we were allowed to wait here and serve ourselves a light breakfast / drinks. On arrival in...

The final hotel on our trip around Iceland was the Hilton, and we left the best to last. There wasn't anything wrong with the guesthouse we stayed at around Iceland, but Hilton was a level above. Very nice hotel. There was a slight hiccup when I ordered room service, the gentleman taking my order didn't take a room number. An...

This is an excellent hotel, with great staff, service and amenities. Our only issue was an improper dinner charge at checkout, but it was handled (removed) quickly and efficiently. Note - the location of the Hilton in Reykjavik on a map may appear farther from the town center than you might wish, but the city is so small in area,...

Excellent service on arrival and in the restaurant . Rooms, clean, modern, spacious, only one negative, the curtains were not black out curtains, so I found it difficult to sleep. Quiet. I would have liked it to have been more central to town.

I decided to go to Reykjavik early before getting on the ship for my cruise. I stayed at the Hilton for one night. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I give kudos to the staff for being very helpful and friendly. My iPhone cord broke, so the front desk let me borrow one until I could get...

This Hilton is quite nice. The room was absolutely spotless! The beds are quite a bit lower to the ground than we Smericans are used to, but comfortable nonetheless. The bathtub in our room was extra long and wonderful for a hot bath after hiking glaciers all day. We used room service for breakfast several times, it was a great...

(I was there back in 2010) I think the hotel was a bit far from the City - a bit of walk for me. However, it is in a nice area. I liked the room and services. I have found people in Iceland are very friendly and the hotel staffs reflected that very nicely. The hotel restaurant was good one....

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. While the location isn't downtown, it's just a short drive (and if you don't have a car, they provide free bus passes). The rooms were beautiful, with hard wood floors and floor to ceiling windows (that even opened to allow fresh air in). The Executive Lounge was lovely and had...

Terrific Hotel. Executive suites on 8th floor(even numbers) are the best option; the 9th level suites need renovations. The staff and management were outstanding The spa manager(from Hungary) was the best! The Hilton is in a convenient location in a wonderful city
