Our last night was spent here, the location is great, probably 10 mins walk to the main shops and harbour. The rooms are comfy with coffee and tea maker down the hall. Breakfast was OK with cereal and continental hams and cheeses. The outside of the hotel could do with a face lift, but inside is clean and well maintained....

Pretty basic but comfortable hotel with breakfast included and a ten minute walk from the main shopping street. Considering you'll be spending most of your time out of the room, this is exactly what you'll need. Breathtaking view of the mountains and harbour from some rooms too.

Loved the staff here. Location was fabulous - could walk all over the town and back again with no problem. All the tours had the hotel on their routes so pick ups and drop offs were easy. The breakfast is wonderful as well. 👏🏻

The hotel was an average place to stay, all the hotels around seem very similar. The rooms were extremely basic but did the job for a long weekend. The shower is extremely small but again is basic and does the job. The buffet breakfasts was included with the price which was good a good variety to set you up for...

This hotel is brilliant and totally fit for purpose. The rooms are very clean, the cleaner comes each morning and does a cracking job. The beds are very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the mountains which was lovely to wake up to each morning. Really convenient for walking down to the Main Street of bars , shops and...

A clean friendly hotel 10 min walk from the main shops and bars. A little bit of work being done when we were there but all cleaned away by 5. Beds are very comfy and room a good size but did lack storage if that is something you require. Overall a good priced hotel considering you are in Iceland and...

We are halfway through our 4-night stay here & it is fine. Not particularly good, not particularly bad – just fine. On the evening we checked in, we got to our room – which is a standard double but is really nice & spacious & has recently been refurbished (the windowsill still smells of paint & you can tell the...

I only stayed one night here. Walked from the bus station, which was actually relatively easy even with luggage in tow. They are pretty strict on the check in time (2pm), so I had to wait for five minutes for my room to be available. I had tried to ask about early check-in, but nobody replied to my email in...

Nice location and comfortable. Rooms are small with minimum space to move around but we are here to sleep only. You can book all tours from here, breakfast and restaurant, staff very nice. Free round the clock coffee machines on all floors.

When we arrived after a long drive on 18/01/2017 at around 8pm we were greeted by an friendly middle-aged man on reception. Being tired and in need on a shower we paid the amount he requested (61700ISK) and went to our room. Later, we thought this was a little more than we expected and worked it out that he'd overcharged...
