Nice hotel that has nearly everything you need. The front area of the hotel looks a bit like an industrial estate but inside its nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is adequate and included in the price. My only slight criticism is that due to the weather they could possibly provide a heated or partially covered...

This hotel is in a good location, an easy walk to the water, 10 minutes into town, five minutes to the bus station and with a local shop very close. The service is excellent, the receptionists were very knowledgeable and went out of their way to help. Very little noise and all the usual conveniences. Free wifi all over the hotel....

Spent a long weekend in Reykjavik mid of October having found a good deal with Fleetway Travel. The four night trip included accommodation at Bjork Hotel and two excursions: Northern Lights Tour and The Golden Circle. Hotel Bjork is about 15 minutes walk to the centre of town, but it's a pleasant walk and about the same distance to the...

Spent a long weekend in Reykjavik at the beginning of October having found a fantastic deal with a company called Fleetway Travel. The weekend included accommodation at Bjork Hotel and two excursions: Northern Lights Tour and The Golden Circle. Hotel Bjork isn't as central as other post lead you to believe and it's a good 20 minute walk into town....

The hotel and rooms are spotless and comfortable. While a bit cramped, the rooms provide all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable, the water is hot (of course, considering its source) and the staff are very very helpful and professional. Anna, the front desk manager, is the consummate professional; knowledgeable and helpful. The attached restaurant provides a simple but...

This hotel suited our purposes which was a place to crash after sightseeing. It was basic but comfortable. The location was a bit of a walk from the city center. Since we were there in cold, windy February it was easier to take a taxi. Not much in the way of nearby shops or places to eat. Still the menu...

Stayed 4 nights at the Bjork and was very impressed. The rooms were clean, warm and comfy. The shower cubicle was a little tight for space but the shower was powerful and hot. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel location is perfect - you are first to be picked up for trips which means you get a good...

A basic but perfectly fine hotel for a short break. Quiet location but only a 10 minute walk to downtown Rejkavik with bars, restaurants, supermarket, etc and the harbour where you can catch whale watching boat trips. Comfy beds. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast, usual fare, but perfectly fine and we were provided with coffee and sandwiches on our last...

This hotel is about 15min walk into Downtown Reykjavik so is an excellent location. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where they serve the continental breakfast, it is also open for lunch and dinner. Prices are reasonable as far as Iceland prices go. The staff were extremely helpful with general advice and booking/changing tours and airport transfers. Only...
