Hotel Bjork is conveniently located in Reykjavik with a comfortable 10 to 15 min walk to the town center. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and it is well serviced. The hotel restaurant has an exceptional lamb dish (some of the best I had on our trip) and the view from our room on the third floor was extraordinary....

Stayed here in March for 4 nights in room 305. We got excellent views of the mountain side despite not getting to see northern lights here due to the cloudy, snowy weather we had. Approximately a 15min walk into the city area, with a supermarket along the way. Decent parking if you rented a car. All of the tour groups...

I wrote a review about this hotel last night but I would like to add a special thank you to the lady on evening reception called Unner, she was the most helpful and friendliest staff I have met for a long time. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Unner.

We booked this short break and were given the Bjork as an alternative hotel. From the exterior it doesn't look great but given the social economy of the country, it's ok! Reception is smart and clean if a little cramped and staff are friendly and happy to assist in any way, whether it be a problem with the room or...

Very clean hotel..friendly staff.good value base.the buffet lunch in the hotel was a bit expensive for what it was but the breakfasts were filling and plentiful. We paid 60£ each for a boat trip to see the northern lights but didn't see anything.we got an excellent view at 1am from the hotel window.

Arrived here on a Groupon tour and stayed for three nights. The Bjork has a very friendly and helpful staff, is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are spacious and sunny. Unlike most restaurants attached to hotels, theirs is really excellent. The only difficulty we experienced had nothing to do with the hotel itself. Other reviewers mention "only 20 minute walk...

Stayed at this hotel for four nights while doing the usual excursions, and it was fine. About 20 mims walk into town and helpful reception staff. Disappointing there isn't a bar or room service, and slightly inflexible restaurant that wouldn't allow me to take my meal to my room as I was alone. I'd stay here again though as a...

We stayed here for 4 nights in a large triple room. Yes it's a 15 minute walk into town but don't be put off. It's an easy walk & helped after eating plenty! Hotel was clean, desk staff very helpful & breakfast was plentiful. Good base for a break in a lovely country.
