The house looks a little scary from the outside and the inside is a time warp back to the 60's. Not in a themed way, but whatever was at the thrust store. Saying that, the caretaker was very nice and informative. Everything very clean. Beds comfortable. Water pressure could use some help. They take ISK or USA $. No credit...

We found the guesthouse while looking for sleeping bag accommodation. Spoke to the owner on the phone and she gave us clear instructions. The moment you step into the guesthouse you immediately feel like you're visiting your grandma. It has a super cozy and homey feel. Kitchens were well equipped although there were 2 full cups with teabags that's gone...

My friend and I stayed here for one night while driving along the south coast. The guesthouse is on the main road and very easy to find. Conveniently located near the black sand beach and there are gas stations and a grocery store in town. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the...

Really enjoyed our stay here. We missed our bus so were "stuck" in Vik for the weekend and we are so glad we were. We didn't have anywhere to stay so walked up the street to see if we can find something. A local guided us here. We went and they had space. The worker was so nice and helpful!...

This place should not claim themselves as bed and breakfast or guesthouse - their quality is even worse than most of the hostels I have been to. The place used to be someone`s house which is converted to house as many beds as possible - without any maintenance being done on the property. The room I stayed in had a...

Accommodation is way too expensive for what it has to offer. We stayed over in January 2016. Actually we were planning to do some wintercamping. Due to the storm we had to stay over inside this night. We paid 5500 KRN per person which was defini tely not worth the money. The kitchen area was unclean. The rooms were old...

My three friends and I stayed here and we were the only ones, even the owner left too. We appreciated the trust they had in us and it was nice to have the whole house to ourselves. It set each of us back 5000 krona which wasn't too bad. The bathroom was nice and there are plenty of rooms for...

I first arrived in Vik with no accommodation booked (we were 4 people) and this was the only place with rooms left and upon first looks we were dubious. Firstly this is more of a hostel than a B&B, but that's okay because it was clean and a very welcoming place. We met a dozen travelers during our two day...

Nothing amazing, but we showed up at 10 pm and were able to get a room! Priced per person, more like a hostel than a hotel. Everything is a little old but it seemed clean and the owner was very nice. Met some fun people while we were staying there. Would stay again, especially for the price.

The place is almost as surprisingly charming as the village. Vik looks like a big stop on the maps, but it's really small, and it shows. This guesthouse is the 2nd house comming from Reykjavik, the place is beautifully furnitured (check out the antique phone in the hallway), and the bedrooms are equally nice. There are only 3 rooms they...
