Stayed here for one night while travelling the Ring Road in October. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The cottage is easy to find and there are lots of cute and photogenic sheep on the road down to the cottages. Very safe for a single, female traveller (as all of...

The lodging was comfort and cozy for 4 persons. Super friendly sheep dog that come every morning to say 'hi' :) Easy to access and near to Vik. The area is not so packed and very relaxing. Good place to see auroras if you are lucky. Reasonable price for a amazing stay.

Loved this destination. Small, cosy and warm, perfect for 2 in the winter. When we arrived my partner was greeted by the friendliest Icelandic person that we met during our whole trip, she was lovely. We used Hvoll as a base to visit Gulfoss and Geysir. On the first day it was blowing a hoolie so we opted to stay....

This one is a little distance away from Vik (10-12 km) towards Reykjavik. It is right next to the sea and offers hands down wonderful views. We had a foggy morning - even then it was quite great. It is a 10-15 min walk to the beach (black sand) from here. primary attractions for the area - stones, black sand...

Small but cozy. Slightly tight for 5 adults, especially if you have big luggages. Kitchen has enough utensils to cook a meal. We arrived on a stormy night and experienced a power failure due to strong winds. Staff came after a while to explain and offer alternative cottage.

It's not camping but you get a nice comfortable cottage and it feels like you're in the wilderness because you are one of the few cottages in an empty land with some sheep from a distance. The environment was nice and serene and check in was good and easy. Finding the place wasn't too hard when there isn't a lot...

we had two nights here and cooked dinner in our kichenette for both nights. the kitchen came fully stocked with utensils and thankfully we had the good sense fo get our own cooking oil and other seasoning ingredients. it was a cozy cottage that stated that it was meant for five (3 in the room with a double deck bed,...

We stayed here in September while driving the ring road. It was a perfect spot in the middle of beautiful scenery! We were comfortable and had everything we needed in the cabin. We would highly recommend!

We spent our first night here on our tour of Iceland's Ring Road. Lovely little cottage with fantastic views. It seemed nearly new with a full kitchenette, small bath with wonderful shower, a comfortable living dining area and separate bedroom. Check in was a breeze and they had a wonderfully detailed guest guide that steered us to a terrific local...

We stayed there for 1 night only, and although it was nice the overall feeling turned to be terrible. Why? Because, the receptionist charges us almost 20 euros more with the excuse that the exchange rate is different. Unfortunately, we paid this extra cost but we involved our booking agency to find the reason of this over charging and finally...
