Stayed here for one night. The hotel must have been booked up because the rate we were charged was very high considering the quality. We were in the old wing and the room is very dated. The mattress was comfortable but very soft. The bathroom could use freshening up. Heater worked great though. Can't recommend unless its the best of...

Nice hotel, but deals mainly with people staying just one night. Very tiny shower room with a tiny washbasin & you hit your head on the glass shelf above it when you bend over to rinse your face. Clingy shower curtain adds to the experience. Limited restaurant menu, repeated every night, but food was good. Clean & modern hotel &...

We drove from Reykjavik to Vik in early April to experience the waterfalls and scenery of south Iceland. We attempted to book a room at the Icelandair Hotel Vik (which is not owned by Iceland Air - rather an investment group using the name), but it was sold out. However, there were rooms available at the Hotel Edda - Vik...

The rooms were tiny, so was the bathroom. I killed about 3 bugs while in there. The shower was open so water was everywhere on the ground. The rooms look old and dated. I felt like I was really in a college dorm. The location was really good. No bell man or luggage cart. Pack light

Check in was simple. The hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was very good as well. Gas station right across the street and the front desk made a reservation for us for dinner. Affordable and good place to stay.

For me first impressions really count, when we arrived at reception we weren't acknowledged. Rooms have all ammenities, nothing luxourious but are fine for a one or two night stay. Breakfast was great, good selection of food. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly.

I heard many good things about great service in Iceland. I didn't expect much about it until last night. I stay at Hotel Edda. I got a standard twin bed in the first place, and was able to switch to double bed with help of a friendly smiley staff. That was the first impression. I had a problem with electrical...

Convenient yet rather simple place. The beds are ok and the room is clean. In the modern part of the hotel, which is also a different hotel, there's a good restaurant (bit expensive but that's Iceland guys...)

Hotel Edda Vik is attached to the more expensive Icelandair Hotel, which is great because it gives you access to their great restaurant. We stayed one night only, in March, the room was spacious and clean, with big windows, which made it helpful to keep watch on the Northern lights. If you don't need a 4 star hotel, this place...

As said in title, hotel location was great for both beach and church. Food in restaurant was expensive but this seems to be the norm anywhere in Iceland. Room basic but warm with friendly staff... weird having two hotels using one reception area
