We stayed at Hotel Edda for two nights, and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were small, but clean. The bathroom was very small, and the corner shower was difficult with the shower curtain instead of shower door. the buffet breakfast was included and very good. Restaurant was very expensive for dinner, so we walked across the street to the café...

when it says wheelchair accessible .. yah talk about getting our suitcases up first. The linked icelandic air hotel gave it a upgrade! the restaurant was good . the price ws even more than ih and that was horrible as we got a glance of their rooms. wonderful

We stayed one night in the Edda Vik part (this older building and the Icelandair Hotel are built together) in a double room with private bathroom. The room was hotel standard - It was clean, comfy bad, nothing special, nothing wrong. Bathroom was small, but comfortable. "Sea view" meant looking at the car parking of the hotel and there was...

We were booked in the small cabins next to the hotel. The cabins have 2 rooms each, and we didn't hear our neighbors at all. Breakfast was at the hotel and was very good, great selection. Only downside was not having wi-fi in the cabin.

It was not a hotel room but a beach hut with facilities .Very small semi with little privacy from next door .The...

This hotel is located a short distance outside of Vik proper and provides a nice base for exploring the southern shore of Iceland. The rooms are clean, have all the basic amenities, and provide a comfortable and sizable room to stay in. The breakfast provided a lot of options: several types of bread, meats, cheese, fruit & veggies, waffle station,...

If you read other reviews that compare it to a dorm, it literally is a converted dorm from summer housing (just look at official website). It is a very simple setup, but it was pretty cheap compared to our other options. My wife and I wanted our own bathroom, so most guesthouses were not good choices. Room was clean and...

The black beaches in vik are beautiful- we stayed here one night (ate at the hotel restaurant berg).. There isn't really anything notable good or bad here - it's a little outdated and connected to a newer hipper looking hotel... But it was clean and super convenient to sites.. Ok for a nights stay.

We stayed in a cool little cabin and it was very clean. Nice hot shower and comfortable beds. Cabins are duplex, and you can hear the neighbors, but the location is good. Breakfast is good but cost another $25 CDN per person, which I thought was a bit steep. Electric kettle with instant coffee in the room.
