We stayed in their bigger cottage (n.4) for a week of quarantine as required by law. The place is beautiful, with a stunning view and surroundings. Everything we needed (coffee machine, TV, comfy sofa, washing machine, oven, hair dryer, etc.) was in the cottage. The hosts were extremely helpful and kind, getting us food for the week (since we couldn't go to public places such as supermarkets and restaurants) and delivering food from the hotel restaurant. Absolutely perfect - and at a really good price!

We absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed here for two nights. Price - quality: Magnificent! Breakfast was not included but could be ordered (before 9PM) by indicating on a list what you want to eat. In this way we payed for what we ordered and we really liked this concept. Coffee/tea/hot milk are available for free all day long! The room was very cozy and clean. The owners are very friendly and have a cute dog. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and we absolutely loved the views.

Very nice place with super friendly Staff in an amazing nature setting! This hotel was on our final days of our 10 day self drive around Iceland and represented all the good things we have encountered. Good food, super friendly people, cosy accommodation with nice bathroom and shower. Only can recommend highly.

This family owned and operated log cabin country hotel is a perfect spot to wind down after a day of exploring. Beds are comfortable and the surrounding area is peaceful and picturesque. On spot restaurant, games for family fun and hosts are super nice. Highly recommend.

Charming small hotel off the main road. We were greeted by a very friendly lady. We stayed in cabin number 1 in the grounds, which was lovely and warm and very peaceful after a stressful day driving. Fully equipped kitchen and not far from two towns where you can purchase groceries. Shower was powerful and hot - not always a given in a cabin so was much appreciated! We ended up having dinner in the hotel restaurant - very tasty fish, served promptly. Nothing was too much trouble. We were there in winter but they have a lovely decking area outside the restaurant that would be lovely on a summer’s evening. Would definitely stay again if I were in the area.
