It was so lovely to visit Halry at her farm with my grandchildren. They all had a turn to cuddle , feed and name a baby Guinea pig before meeting the latest addition-Marshmellow- the baby lamb along with Oreo- the goat and Lollipop-the donkey. Hayley is such a gracious hostess and the kids had the best time ever. Thanks Hayley...

Had a great weekend with our daughter and family at Lamina Amore. The cottage is very comfortable.Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. The outside screened kitchen deck with bar-b-que was great. We ate all our meals out there. The kids had fun with all the dress ups and toys in their room. The outdoor play area with combi van cubby ,swings, see saw etc kept them...

I stayed at Lamina Amour, came over to spend Melbourne Cup day in a quiet place (for once). Work stress had me feeling pretty run down, but I started to relax the minute I walked inside. I'm actually quite surprised to read some of the other negative reviews, don't know what their problem is. Yes, by day two there was...

A very relaxing family and pet friendly holiday retreat. 10 minute by ferry (or car barge) from Victoria Point (approximately 33km SE of Brisbane). 2 minute walk to 'the quirky farm" and 5 minute walk to the beach (lifeguards on watch on weekends) and 10 minute walk to the corner grocery / fish and chip takeaway. Entire house is quirky...

If you are looking for a few days away with entertainment galore for the kids look no further than Hayley's Quirky Cottages on Coochiemudlow Island. We were 4 adults with 3 young kids (5 and under) and our old dog staying at the "Beach Shellay" which is the most kid orientated of the cottages. Adult facilities are modest but for...

We stayed with our children back in May 2013 in The Beach Shellay and loved it. We had such a nice time, we have always wanted return., This winter holiday we stayed in the Cow House, it was great. The kids were delighted with their bedroom with Cow cushions and soft cow toys on their beds. It had everything we...

We arrived a little early and were greeted and advised that cleaning was not complete but welcome to leave our gear. Further advised the beds would be made and the cleaning finished by the time we returned. Well that did not happen - the first night we slept without linen on the bed or towels (fortunately we had beach towels)....

Let me start by saying that we were MORE than aware that the place was NOT 5 star accommodation. We just returned yesterday from our "holiday" to Quirky Cottages. We came home 2 days early because we could not deal with the filthy state of both cottages we were assigned. The lack of general cleanliness and basic hygiene was disgusting....

I must say, I was totally impressed with Quirky Cottages. I am a grandmother of 5 and wanted to take my grandkids somewhere special. We were lucky enough to stay in both Jeannie's Carriage and Lamina Amour. The Jeannie's carriage was certainly fun and amazingly roomy for caravan style living. There were lovely grounds for me to relax in whilst...

I have come to quirky cottages a couple of times, I have stayed in Lochil and the Cow House. Each time I have stayed here I come home relaxed and revitalised. I love the themed houses and the thought and detail that has gone into creating them. In saying this if you want pristine, perfect accommodation that lacks any individuality...
