We arrived at hardwood haven to the very welcoming personality of fay cross. She showed use around the home Which was absolutely amazing. With its high ceilings, beautiful arcitecture and rich history this home has a very inviting vibe. Ty and fay have done a beautiful job making this house into a home. They are very kind and genuine people...

The hosts were wonderful, the room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was great, as was the conversation around the breakfast table. Getting a guided tour of the upper levels, including tower area, was a bonus, as were the owners' cute dogs. Already hoping to stay there again.

This character b&b is in a house dating back to 1856, its kitch in character. The hosts Ty and Fay are so welcoming. For me the fresh prepared breakfast resonated the beautiful farm lands around this venue. Homemade cheese scones warm an crumbly from the oven, a marvellous frittata, a bone china teapot and home made jam all delicious. I...

I stayed at the Hardwood Haven while working at the local hospital. This was the first time I had ever used a Bed and Breakfast as lodging during a business trip and thanks to Ty and Fay Cross it was a great experience. They were wonderful hosts and between Fay's baking and Ty's breakfasts I must have gained five pounds...

We were so fortunate to get the Towner suite, the top floor of this lovely home in the pretty town of Listowel. There's a kitchette and lots of attractive, well-cared for old furniture, plus a gas fire place. The queen bed is comfy, plus there's also a single bed. The bathroom looks brand new, large, clean and warm, with a...

We were in town for a wedding, and although we only stayed 1 evening, what a fabulous Victorian home. Beautifully and lovingly restored by the hosts, Tye and Fay were excellent hosts, providing a tour of the home as well as the history. We were a party of 6 people so we had booked the Lilico Room and the Walker...

Enjoyed our stay at Hardwood Haven. The location was perfect and the house was immaculate. Faye and Ty served a fantastic breakfast including home made muffins and preserves. The fellowship at breakfast was delightful and we would definitely recommend this B & B to those travelling to the area. Great stay. Linda G and Louise T

Fay & Ty were gracious hosts welcoming us to their B&B. Fay gave us a tour of their home which they had done a remarkable job at converting to a B&B. They maintained its character and were very knowledgeable on the past history of the house. We stayed in the Walker room which was very comfortable. The only downfall is...

Was in town for a wedding, this was a first for us saying at a B & B! The hosts were wonderful and delightful people! Although we never got to enjoy breakfast as we were too busy with the wedding the hosts offered us breakfast to go! We stayed in the Malcolm Suite the room was spacious but if your...
