to my regret I booked a room for 2 days for my friend, who visited here in iroquois ON. the first night was fine except when he came back to his room at around 9PM all the lights were off, difficult to see his room. The 2nd night he went back to his room around 9;30pm, all the lights were ooff again, then he entered the room, bed was NOT made, no clean towels no shampoo.
I decided to call the owner to ask him if he could look into this, as i was explaining this to him, he HUNG UP on me in mid sentence. this is not a good way to treat paying guests especially in a small town like this where word certainly gets around!!
Many people here do want to send their company to a motel because their own home is either too small or inadequate, so it would be a wise and good business practice to treat paying guests with courtesy and respect.

A simple motel run by a friendly woman. Nothing fancy, but clean and in a good location, off the beaten path. Thought it might have cost a bit much for what I got, but still not bad. Yep, I'd go back.

Booked one room for one night. When we arrived I knew it was a mistake. Had the proprietor show us the room. The room was very dark with old tired furniture. Bathroom filthy as was the room itself. Decided not to stay and paid 1/2 the nightly fare to get out of the reservation. Do not book there !

My family was heading to Montreal and we needed somewhere to rest up for the night. The motel was right off the highway so we figured we would give it a try. Approaching the property, I noticed the motel sign was off. Only a few lights were on outside the fifteen room motel. It appeared to be closed it was so dark. Peeked my head in the office, managment was there and gave me a room. The office reeked of cigarette smoke. Looking around the exterior I noticed a lot of the paint was pealing off. We move on to room 10. The room was very dark and sketchy. Only two lights were available, even the room was dark. The room was moldy, holes in the walls, hair all over the beds. The beds smelled like urine. The shower had mold all over and the bottom of the tub was a yellowish color. The television actually worked and the room did provide a microwave and mini-fridge (probably the only positives) When you see a motel like this you are instantly thrown into another time period. This motel needs a lot of work and I feel it is neglected. I was told just to leave my key in the room, which pretty much eliminated the check-out experience. Don't make the same mistake I did. Keep driving.

Very tired and ready for sleep after a very long drive, we pulled off the highway after seeing the sign Iroquois Motel... We found the quaint place and we were immediately welcomed with a room ready for us and our small dog. WE had everything we needed-clean towels, fresh sheets. ...and a fridge too. Big clean bathroom. The sleep was restful and nice.

The customer service was outstanding. The reception lady even gave us pointers on all night coffee and a great place TO EAT. Yesfi !!! what a restaurant !! mmmm

Thank you - we will return for sure- on our travel's

only negative thing is the carpet floor..

as a traveler I have stayed here on several occasions and have never had a bad experience. The rooms were always clean and cozy. As s non smoker it's a pleasure to enjoy an oder free room. The staff are friendly and courteous .
The free wifi and digital TV at also nice perks.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel to anyone travelling through eastern Ontario .

Well where to start....
First of all was told rooms were $66 or $77 for two beds. We got one bed she charged us $65 took $1 off because I'm status Indian. We got into our room and the smell of air spray was terrible I mean chocking terrible. We opened door could do windows as no screen just to get air.
The lady was nice on the phone however not so nice when we got there. It was so disgusting I slept with my clothes on just wanted to get home. I wouldn't even shower there.
Please believe me when I say I rather sleep in my truck then stay here.
