The castlehill Knowe is a relatively isolated B&B. It is located in a small village surrounded by a perfect view and atmosphere. The owners were very warm and demonstrated their great English/Scottish hospitality from the minute we stepped in the door. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable, breakfast is tasty and served with love. Excellent!

My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Castlehill. Unknown to us the Beltane Festival was taking place during our visit which was an added bonus. Castlehill is set amongst glorious scenery and is only a fifteen minute drive into Peebles. Like other contributors here you cannot write about Castlehill without mentioning Sue & Roger.....what a...

My friend booked us in here for a cycling trip and I was expecting just another run of the mill B&B (mainly because the price was so cheap) but I was very pleasantly surprised to find an absolute gem of a place , beautiful surroundings, beautiful house, great breakfast and great hosts. I would highly recommend this to anybody and...

Another outstanding visit to this small, friendly B & B. It is just like being part of the family. Fantastic views from all aspects of the property and all the comforts you could wish for on a Scottish break away

We enjoyed every minute of our stay with Sue & Roger. Excellent hosts and they made us feel like we were at home! The scenery is breathtaking and extremely relaxing. My only complaint is that we were only there for two nights. The most comfortable beds! EXCELLENT!!! Look forward to going back!

We had never stayed in a B&B previously and were extremely impressed with Sue & Roger and the accomodations. I was researching family history and they went out of their way to help me. The Peebles scenery is stunning incuding the views from Castlehill Knowe. The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we had requested a...

Very friendly and comfortable B&B a few miles from Peebles. This place is set in a beautiful & peaceful valley. Excellent breakfast with a view looking out over the beautiful farmland & hills. The lounge was also available for our use. Highly recommended!
