Still a good stop-over option between Windhoek and Cape Town. However, not as good as it used to be some years ago. We got exactly the same 2 dinner options we had in October (we only dropped-in for dinner, no stay-over at that time). The family room is basic and tired, the bathroom is very tired. Overall set-up with pool, garden etc still very nice, as is the staff.

Wow,breath taking. We stayed for 3 days. Its a beautiful place kids friendly and employees are very accommodating. It's out of this world ... with a nice view of the grape farms . I must say very tidy and great customer service, and a great chef. It's therapeutic being here

Have just spent a night at this guesthouse. The perfect stop as it is about 10 minutes from the border on the namibian side. The engen garage and wimpy are just a stones throw away. Very friendly and helpful staff and our dinner and breakfast was very nice. Rooms clean and had everything we needed.

Noordoewer Guesthouse continues to impress. I have stayed at the establishment several times and always enjoyed my stay. With this trip, there were delays at the border and they still arranged my 10pm arrival without a hassle. Thanks Cecelia. They have adapted extremely well to the pandemic and have strict protocols which is commendable. I will gladly use Noordoewer Guesthouse again.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Noordoewer Guetshouse. The Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The food and service was great, and it felt like being home. Even with a power failure they improvised with a take away breakfast. Thank you so much I can highly recommend staying at Noordoewer Guesthouse. We will definitely be back. Malan & René Loubser

After a disastrous overnight stay in an establishment further south on the Namibian side, I was most surprised by the warm welcome, professionality and good price/value relationship at the Noordoewer Guest House: Rooms were clean, with air conditioning (warm there, all year), food was well priced (I had the lamb chops, with sweet potatoes, fried onion rings and chips), as well as the beverages. They offered me a breakfast pack should I want to leave early, but I chose to stay for the full (hot and cold) breakfast, which was well presented and of good quality. Staff was friendly, professional and I always felt welcome. Definitely my choice again when I stay over in Noordoewer!

Rooms are clean and well maintained with parking close by. Two pools too cool off in. Daytime temperatures are often in the mid 40's. Food was basic but good and wholesome. Lovely view over the vineyards and the Orange river. Friendly staff and owner. Prefer this to the other guesthouse in Noordoewer. Will return.

I think this is the third or fourth time we have overnighted at this guest house when travelling between Cape Town and Namibia. The rooms are always perfect, down to the towels folded into animal shapes (or snakes!). Please make a point of taking dinner here, and make sure you go hungry, as the cook believes in filling up that plate. We had a choice of chicken schnitzel or steak and chips, and we took one of each in order to compare. The steak was at least two inches thick, and both meals had a wonderful selection of extras, from salads to veggies, and was just too delicious. Till next time!
