I just read a negative review on this hotel. I'm staying here now and quite frankly the last negative review seems to be like no hotel would satisfy them. This hotel is lovely. Rooms are very large and spacious. Spotless. Staff are fantastic. Manager mingles with staff and is always at hand to help. Food is lovely. Menu is perfect...

We are sadly departing on Sunday after a two week stay. We have read previous negative reviews and feel they have the wrong hotel! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the furnishings are good quality. The hotel has a quality feel to it and the staff are very attentive. The manager Sammy is a an absolute gent and mingles with...

Clean, Elegant spacious rooms and excellent views. The pool is situated on the roof of this hotel which is somewhat small but this is compensated with the superb views of Marsalforn Bay. Howevver, the bay is only a 50m away from the Hotel entrance. Many good restaurants in the area.

we stayed for 4 days in june 2014 - the room was a real disappointment with shabby outdated fittings and fixtures, the bathroom was tiny and the taps corroded. The small balcony did provide a view of the bay but did not have enough room to have a table on. No tea or coffee making facilities, poor wi-fi connection and...

Having just spent a lovely week at this hotel we would recommend paying the extra for the sea view it is well worth it. The hotel is small, clean and very friendly. We were on a B & B basis and the breakfast was very good. There are a good selection of restaurants within a short distance and we thoroughly...

20th June 2014. As returning guests (20 visits) to the Calypso Hotel we are very pleased to see it return to an excellent 4 star hotel, all down to the new manager. In 2 months he has put right many points that had slipped over the last 4 or 5 years and we are looking forward to seeing more of...

We have been to the Maltese Islands at least once a year since 1999, and have stayed at many hotels on all three inhabited Islands. This is the second time we have stayed at the Calypso and found it much as we did the first time of staying, a very good hotel. As other reviewers have said we saw a...

I gave the hotel a below average rating because on average the great and the bad things didn't cancel each other out. The good thing about the hotel is the size of the room we had and the view was spectacular. We also really enjoyed breakfast which was a great way to start the day and the kitchen and waiting...

Me and my friend spent 2 days at Calypso hotel and was thoroughly impressed the moment we walked in. The staff were extremely welcoming and the cleanliness was top notch. We had a bay view room which was spacious and great views of the surrounding coastal shops and sea. The TV has many channels in English, and there is a...
