We booked this place based on family recommendation (they were there 2 years earlier) and based on the Website. Should have read latest reviews on Tripadvisor, as we would have never booked this place. The 1 star we gave was for the location which is great with outstanding views. That's all. We were advised by Text that the key was in the door and our room ready. So we arrived around 1 PM and at our room were greeted by a young man who was bringing towels to our room. The size of the room is adequate, Queen bed, dark green sheets, dark walls, very basic furniture. small table by the window with patio chairs. No Front desk, no restaurant, no Shampoo, no soap, no coffee maker, no microwave, just a small fridge in the closet and a fly swatter besides the window (to kill bugs I guess). The bathroom had rust and dated from last century. Shower curtain had water rust. We were told that what we need (shampoo soap coffee maker) was self serve in the main building. There were no employees on the premises except the guy we met at arrival, also told that the owners left for Mexico. I can go on and on. Thanks God we booked only 1 night. WE slept with our cloth on. AVOID THIS PLACE. Don't rely on their website as it is not what you get.

The location is perfect, with a view of the river.
The collective facilities allow meetings in an atmosphere that combines youth hostel and cozy comfort.
The room was very good.
What more can be said ? Perfect for passing through, perfect for staying.

It's the first time I've come to the Auberge but not the last!
The view from my room is breathtaking!
And the room (motel) is very comfortable. The bed too.
The text messaging system works perfectly.
The concept of common rooms and kitchen is very nice, except when there is a large group. Please check when you book.

Very well maintained, comfortable hostel, staff Gabriel and David attentive to the customer's needs. Very good dormitory experience, nice sharing in a common kitchen. To do again next year for vacation
