It’s the first time that I have arrived at a hotel and just found the keys in the reception with my name on them. The reception is practically never open. I didn’t see any there but there is a phone number to call. We did...More
I recommend this hotel...it’s a no-nonsense hotel with a good breakfast room, typical of European hotels...as a senior traveler, I appreciated the walk-in shower...the room is spacious enough...one drawback is the lack of an elevator...
Booked 2 nights in a sea view room, which was the same price or very little more than non. Room is basic and completely fine. It’s not billed as luxury accommodation. 10 minute walk into historic center of Tórshavn. Breakfast is typical with bread, cheese,...More

The breakfast selection is very basic, being essentially "continental" with hard and "soft" boiled eggs as well. You wouldn't book the hotel for the breakfast, but we found it quite adequate. The hotel is family owned and run and is very relaxed and comfortable style. Everything in the Faroes is expensive.
Wifi speed was good as I recall.
