This cozy inn is located just outside of the main city of Luxembourg, about 30 minutes train ride to Ettelbruck and connect for a 20 minutes long bus. (Longer due to the frequent stops). But what a beautiful ride! Driving, it would take less time. Can you say, Heaven? The inn rests towards the top of an old European street,... More

We visited the town very briefly four years ago for lunch whilst on a motorcycle tour of the area, and decided then that we would return when we toured again. It was well worth it, The hotel rooms are modern, and the bathroom and shower immaculate. We were disappointed that the double bed was two twins which slid apart, but... More

I guess that most people that sleep at Aal Veinen will also dine in the restaurant - and you definitely should do. While many guests stay only one night, we stayed two to explore te surrounding Luxembourg Ardennes. The augberge has 9 rooms - each differently, but (as far as our peek allowed) all modern with very good beds. The... More

Small, quaint, beautiful hotel & restaurant. While the building is very old, the rooms are extremely comfortable and modern. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant meals (steaks) were very will prepared. While the breakfast was very good, it was at additional cost and seemed a little overpriced for what was offered.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and updated while still maintaining charm, but rooms are fairly small. No elevator. Close to Vianden castle, a steep 5 minute walk. The river is a 5 minute walk downhill. Parking can be difficult to find nearby, and you have to feed the meters during the day on weekdays. Restaurant... More

The hotel is part of a nicely renovated building with a famous grill restaurant at the ground and first floor. The 9 rooms have all been thoroughly and beautifully restored, with excellent bathrooms. The spirit of the old building has been kept but modern comfort like walk-in showers and dark tiles with floor heating make the rooms as good as... More

We booked this hotel for two nights based on reviews here. We were not disappointed! This place is a hotel with its own restaurant, which locals actually seek out - and rightly so. We ate here on both nights, the food is fantastic and amazing value for money. Our room itself was very cosy, beautifully decorated with a feeling of... More

Situated in a prime position for those wanting to visit Vianden Castle, This hotel offers large, comfortable rooms in a heritage building. The beamed ceilings and slate floors add to the feeling of quality and the modern bathroom compliments the room's decor. Parking is nearby. Wi fi is free and reliable. The staff are extra-friendly. The restaurant is excellent. Recommended.

I'm not sure that many travellers make their way to Vianden, but I can assure you that it's well worth the trip. We drove to Vianden and had booked the Auberge based on reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel is small and quaint with proud roosters being the resonant theme - something to do with the owner's name. The staff -... More
