The Perrin is ideally situated in the outskirts of central Luxembourg city, which makes it a peaceful stay. We were very pleasantly welcomed by Gianni, who was attentive to our needs and suggested places to eat take away (because of the pandemic). Their choice of wine is exceptional and the bottles are of premium quality for the price.
The bedding is nice and comfortable, and the beds feel very luxurious.
We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

+ near the train station, convenient to get around in on foot. + you can walk to the old town and get there in 10-20 mins depending on your pace + comfortable beds, room was fairly spacious given there were 3 of us.
- not entirely the hotel’s fault but wanted to put this in the review as FYI and warning both to management and future guests. My cc was hacked/skimmed during our stay in the hotel. I suspect it was from the hotel WIFI because it only happened after I transacted online using their WIFI. To clarify the cc hacked was not the one used for actual pmt of our room, so i believe this was not done by hotel staff.

The room offered no view and the floors were very noisy when walking on them. We could hear guests upstairs moving chairs or beds around(?) at all hours which was noisy. The room smelt of wet dogs on the first day but this was resolved for the remaining days. It has a good central location in luxembourg but the area itself is quite dodgy and would not recommend women travelling alone to stay in this area. We didn’t get replacement water after we drunk ours but the hotel staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the lobby was nice and welcoming.

At check-in, the desk clerk couldn't understand my last name and told me the hotel was completely full (not according to the Internet). He finally found my reservation and the room was on the 4th floor which doesn't have access to the elevator. Luggage and dining had to take the stairs from the 3rd floor to 4th. The room faced the courtyard with a long balcony that extended to all the rooms so couldn't keep the window open due to security reasons. No hot items (e.g., bacon or scrambled eggs) at the breakfast buffet. Having the Do Not Disturb sign on the door meant nothing because housekeeping entered the room at 8:30 am while we were still getting ready.

The reception staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfast while fairly basic with cooked eggs was enhanced by the ambiance of the breakfast room.
There are a variety of eateries in walking distance and the tram line is a short block away providing easy access to Luxembourg sights. Luxembourg train station is just 250 m (3 min walk).
The hotel has a classic hotel vibe (it opened in the 1932) but it has been updated to modern standards.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi was not very strong in my room which overlooked the street.
A secure car park is available at the train station for 20 euro/24hr. Short term parking at Liberty Parking is nearby at 2 euro/hr daytime (up to 4 hrs) and 1 euro/hr after 1900. Parking Fort Neipperg is also close by with similar pricing.

Beautiful, historic and charming hotel in Luxembourg close to the train station (about a 15 minute walk from the old city center). The hotel is delightful, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff are lovely and helpful. The beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious, and I was elated we had a fan available to us (already placed within the room) as it was quite hot while we were visiting. We would definitely stay here again, this place is a gem.

You might think when walking into the hotel, what an old fashioned stuff. But look closer and you will see everything is fresh and well maintained. The rooms are clean. The bed is one of the best I have slept in. If you want some cooling, there's a Dyson Cool in the room and for some music there's even a (pretty well sounding) Ikea Bluetooth speaker. The breakfast is perfect. There is fresh fruit, egg's are cooked the way you like. I would like to mention signore Giani, the hotel manager, making long hours, but always very friendly.

We had an absolutely lovely stay! Our room was light, bright, and spacious. The staff could not have been more cordial and welcoming. The decor of the dining, entry and stair areas consisted of many authentic antiques and art pieces. We were within a block of both the free public rail and bus system. No need for a car and the food was both fabulous and inexpensive. There was a Five guys within 2 blocks and we had the best meal we’ve eaten in Europe at the Brazilian steakhouse! Absolutely 5 plus stars!

Beautiful hotel with exceptional decoration, actually I’d say than more than being “decorated,” this hotel has been “curated.” The staff is very professional and kind, the place is not super clean and very well located; I’d you get a room with a street view it’ll be some noise, but nothing unbearable.
