We booked to stay at Maritsa Lodge four months before the stay. They called us some days later to confirm the booking and we confirmed. After that, they called again some days later and they told us that they are waiting for a school the same days as we have already booked and "for our good" to help us find... More

We're so used to the average/bad level of most hotels in Cyprus, and this one is no exception. Average lodgings (in an otherwise excellent building had the craftsmanship been better, and attending to details with some relative imagination...) with awful breakfast, BUT with a perfectly polite and sweet hostess/maid/cook (yes, one person employee). The breakfast was poor, had the cheapest... More

We got to kakopetria in the late afternoon and were a bit put off by the previous reviews. We decided to try and it was more then great. First of all there is a new manager so nice and helpful. But the best thing is the room. In an authentic old renovated building. We had room 5 with a balkony... More

Me and a couple of friends chose this property to spend our winter break. It seemed very nice on the internet so we decided to give it a go. Just to clarify most of us are adults (18+) however we are senior students. When we arrived at the property we were required to put on bracelets in order to be... More

Good value for money. Traditional house in old Kakopetria. Friendly staff. Breakfast was more than I could eat. The only negative I could think of is that wifi (free) only works in the lobby (shows how spoilt we all have become).

We was in the beginning of September there. When you are looking for a quiet place to relax, then you are right here. You are in the old town. Very petorisc. We was at this time the only guests and had the lodge for us alone. Owner was friendly and nice. Room was clean, cleaner like in other hotels we... More

Myself and my husband came here for a couple of nights out of the searing summer heat of Limassol, searching for peace, quiet and cool night air. We found all these things here at Maritsa Lodge. It's very difficult to find, we drove round for ages trying to find it but once found wow were we happy we had booked.... More

Lovely place to stay in well preserved old village. Houses made in the traditional style with mud bricks. Nice to explore the nooks and crannies and also walk along the fast flowing stream where a nature trail has been recently opened up.The newer part of town has lots of restaurants.

We booked the Executive Suite and we paid 100 Euro. The room was much smaller than advertised – they told us that all rooms are the same. There was no fireplace as advertised, just a small wood-burning stove. There was no fireplace tool set. There were not any wood logs, and there was nobody there to provide us. The ‘Spa... More
