A very convenient hotel, friendly staff, especially Nicholas the bar man and a particular waitress in the restaurant but I don’t know her name. Close to beach, nice pool area and close nearby restaurants within a 20min walk radius. Recommend the Columbia beach restaurant, really nice but a bit on the expensive side, you also have Terry’s Place, the service is there very good including the food.

We had a sea view room, was lovely. Lovely scenery. Very spacious and very clean. Clean comfortable beds, normally struggle to sleep but the few nights I’ve been here I’ve fallen asleep within not even 5 minutes and because of the position of our room, the sun didn’t glare down on room and make it too hot.

Overall staff are very helpful, very knowledgeable and friendly. If your stuck, want information or advice. The cleaners also work hard, but they need to make sure that everything is cleaned and cleaned polished especially the lampshades and under desk table. The grounds are very clean, no piece of litter in sight.

Definitely recommend this place. Definitely come back again.

Stayed for a weeks winters sun at Kapetanios Hotel however no sun last week! Nice room 506 rear facing but that was no issue with bed very comfy. Food ideal however breakfast buffet often not the warmest, yet evening meal always had a good choice of buffet options. Only downside of the hotel was the endless late night idiots in their cars and motorbikes zooming along the main road until the very early hours nearly every night. Also Limassol appears to be little Moscow these days with huge luxury apartment blocks towering and dominating all along the sea front looks horrible and so out of character. Would recommend the hotel to stay but take your ear plugs and head to the old town.

We've just returned from a few days break in Limassol. We stayed here and found it to be great value for money, having said that, you get what you pay for! The rooms are clean and there is plenty of space in them, I loved having a fridge in the room to keep our water and snacks cool. At times there was a smell in the bathroom and occasionally could hear the water gurgling from the sink or bath presumably when someone else flushes in another room, it didn't cause any issues though.
The breakfast is mediocre, we decided to not eat there every day because there really isn't a great choice and based of the breakfast I wouldn't eat there at any other meal.
We didn't use the outside pool, but it looked clean and inviting. My children were desperate to go swimming so we went down to the indoor pool; it was absolutely freezing! Still, they had a good swim and lots of fun up until they were told that they were not get get any water kin the side of the pool, so no jumping or splashing!! For an 8 and 10 year old this was very hard, we felt like we were being watched and weren't allowed to have fun, so we left. We'd booked this hotel for the price and the indoor pool, so we were very disappointed that they couldn't have fun in the pool!
All in all it's an ok hotel if you are just looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to sleep, I don't think if want to spend a relaxing week by the pool at this hotel.

The Kapetanios is well located close to the beach and it has a swimming pool (unheated). Rooms have small balconies, wifi is included and it works well.
However, rooms seem to have received no maintenance in decades. The mattresses are extremely old and uncomfortable, the furniture in general feels unclean, and cleanliness in the rooms was poor. It is the sort of hotel where you feel uncomfortable sitting on the armchair or leaving your clothing on the bed.
The breakfast is included in the price, but it is of an extremely low quality, with terrible coffee and stale bread.
The toiletries are extremely basic: soap and shower gel, and bathrooms are very small. However, everything works well and the water was hot.

Very tired hotel, rooms minimal rather scruffy and needs a good update, staff helpful and food ok, no tea making facilities but asked and they were provided, had problems with the toilet backing up but fixed quickly by the staff, I think it’s a common problem as the original hotel has 3 more floors added to the original, it’s a noisy location with lots of boy racers blasting around in the evening, lots of building work going on adjacent buildings. "SPA “is in the basement again very tired and not inviting at all, you have to pass the garage spaces so lots of exhaust smells and past the janitors room reeking of tobacco smoke,. Shower area to spa was also very tired , sauna not working and controls broken. Outside pool ok ( very cold at this time of the year) but the view is not and photographs on the website make it look much better than it is. Lovely view of the rubbish bin and car park, Wouldn’t stay again, luckily it was a base for meeting friends elsewhere.

Awful experience - noisiest hotel I think I've ever stayed at holiday ruined

I was placed in a room in the middle of multiple rooms of male teenage students who caused soooo much noise every night.
The 1st night I went to reception and before I could even say more information they said oh is it room 413 I said yes.
That went on for hours and eventually they got them to stop. Same 2nd night only the night reception did nothing and I argued with him after 2 hours and he finally went and sorted it.
The group had apparently been there 2 weeks so why did they allow them to ruin other guests holidays night reception lazy and rude.

Moved rooms and got placed next to a group of noisy girls now had another argument with them.
This hotel has zero sound proofing AT ALL.
All you can hear is constant slamming doors, if the person next door has a shower it's like its happening in your bathroom

The road! !!!! The road out the front Is like idiot joy riders hell for some reason at night they excellerate so fast, constant backfiring like a gun, motorbikes going very fast and a carpatk where cars do noisy tricks at the expense of everyone else.

The staff barely speak to you It's like they are tired and can't be bothered.

The rooms are dated but big and nice the pillows are awful and I have neck ache.

I couldn't wait to leave and If I was staying longer than 4 nights I would have left.

I love jet 2 but they need to get rid of this place its a bloody nightmare and I felt like I needed s holiday to get over this stay AWFUL SORRY

We had a nice time at the hotel with the room being very clean and having any necessities in hand (water bottles, kettle, etc). The staff working there being very friendly and helpful. HOWEVER one of the reasons booking this hotel was the indoor pool and the health club facilities. When asking at the reception we were told that these facilities are closed due to covid with us knowing that this is not the case as there are no government restrictions for these facilities due to covid anymore. On the hotel's website and on booking.com there is nowhere mentioning that these facilities are closed.

Stayed here for 1 week half board. Breakfast excellent large choice both hot & cold. Evening meal always had choice of soup & salad as well as mains. Son a big fan of the cakes. Singer accompanied a couple of nights & one night had traditional dancers . Hotel situated near zoo & walking distance of old town & harbour. Beach & sea literally 3 mins away.
Only downside were pools a little on cool side but would definitely recommend & excellent value for money.

We booked this hotel through Jet2 - with a free child place, but an odd hotel to offer a child place as not really child orientated. Felt very short stay /business orientated.

Great location for the sea front, harbour, old town and zoo. Feel tourism is just taking off here.

Breakfast was ok, though same each day.

Pool was good .....and quiet, plenty of space and sun loungers.

Staff were ok, often not around, Cleaners were brilliant. The room was very small for 3 people on a week's holiday with a child and suitcases. They said we had had an upgrade - cant imagine a smaller room?!

The prom appeared to be a race circuit at night for cars and motor bikes - while it looked great fun it went on past midnight and kept us awake.

Went there with my wife (prepaid through Booking) for 1 night (weekend 8/10/2022), asked for a double room with outside window. Immediately stepping in a horrible smell came to our nose reminding us of sewage. Write away I went to the reception and reported that because I suffer from asthma and I new it will cause me trouble. The receptionist send the housekeeper which recognized the problem but she could not do anything. She said that there no other room available, she said she was sorry and left, leaving us with our problem on our own! That was totally unprofessional, against any client policy which the hotel might have and destroyed our relaxing weekend. Moreover the service personnel in the restaurant was like non-existent.

The hotel has an indoor & outdoor pool & I am do not think they provide towels solely for pool use. There are the usual towels in your room.
