This was our third visit to this hotel ( which should say something in itself!). My husband and I ( not Saga crew but in our 40s!) visited for a week in mid July. Our previous reviews are also online. Have been reading the mixed reviews lately and I appreciate everyone has their own perspectives and right to express opinion...

We just returned from the Pioneer beach and can honestly say we really enjoyed the holiday. The hotel has lovely gardens and is immaculately clean in every area. The rooms were specious and had the most comfortable bed. There is a really great shop on site to buy drinks and snacks, the ladies who work there are lovely. There are...

We have just returned from our two week honeymoon spent at this amazing hotel. From the moment we stepped into the reception and were greeted with smiles, champagne and a personal check in, we were made to feel welcome. We were upgraded to a sea view room as opposed to the side view we had originally booked as it was...

This is the first time that I have taken to TripAdvisor but felt that I had to because I feel so frustrated at the number of positive feedbacks given for this hotel. I travel extensively with my work and have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels globally, so I know a 4 star hotel looks like when I see...

Where to start. ...the greeting as you pull in on the coach...the chilled drinks as you glide through the doors of this lovely hotel. The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. Your every wish is attended to immediately. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and there is something for everyone. The Constantinou brothers are to be highly...

Couples only maybe suitable for saga. No atmosphere no music in the day by the pool. The entertainment wad questionable on many nights. Rooms are medium size "travel lodge" size not 5 * size Facilities good and food was very good. Overall ok if your looking for piece and quiet.

My husband and I stayed here between 5th-12th August. We are used to long haul holidays but decided somewhere less expensive this year. This hotel was better than expected in many areas and we left thinking we would actually really like to return to this hotel. Room: A really big and comfy bed. Asked for quiet room and it was...

Just back from 10 nights at the Pioneer, had a wonderful time, rooms nice, food was good, enjoyed the a la carte restaurant arrangements and enjoyed some fantastic sunsets. All inclusive worked really well with great selection of drinks. Entertainment a bit hit and miss maybe but Thompson entertainment coordinator was absolutely lovely. Beach literally on the doorstep and lovely...

There's plenty of good points to this hotel, and a few not so good. We've just had a week there at the beginning of August and the majority of holiday makers seemed to be getting exactly what they wanted. It's a couples only hotel so if you expect it to be quiet you will not be disappointed. There is no...
