Tiny twin room and had to put cases under the beds, but the rooms were lovely, clean and tidy with everything we needed. There are no drinks making facilities but there are pubs, bars and restaurants next door, opposite and behind so no need to travel far. The coach from Barcelona stops right outside although you have to ask for...

We stayed here for the week while on our ski trip. The rooms are small but were perfectly adequate for our needs. Shower was powerful and water hot at any time of the day. Housekeeping couldn't have been better. Above all the location cannot be beaten. It is right next door to a lovely Italian restaurant and the Irish derby...

We stayed year for the new year and I really couldn't fault the hotel. We collected our room keys from across the road and the lady Sara was really helpful! Rooms were small but great for what we needed, cleaned every day and option to have fresh towels. Ski boot and ski storage available Short walk to the gondola Plenty...

The hotel is small little gem set in the heart of Arinsal. The rooms may be a bit small for some people, but i had a double room on a single basis so plenty of room for me. The hotel is lovely and clean and the decor is neutral and simple, while being warm and comfy. you have a maid...

Booked this for a 5 night stay over the Tour de France weekend. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable. You take breakfast at the Sports Bar across the road. It's perfectly adequate and the staff are very nice and helpful. I was told there was free wifi and although I could pick it up the access code didn't work....

I am writing this review on my last night of my holiday. The hotel is small little gem set in the heart of Arinsal. The rooms may be a bit small for some people, but 2 of us were quite comfy and not falling over each other. The hotel is lovely and clean and the decor is neutral and simple,...

Stayed here for a week in Feb, rooms were small but adequate for what we needed. Breakfast in the "Polar Base" was great (ask for the croissant to be replaced by eggs and bacon, as they don't tell you this is included). Staff were friendly and checking in and out was easy and simple. Would stay again.

Was very impressed from the moment I met the receptionist, was very kind and helpful, provided useful information. The hotel is very close to the Gondola lift just a 3-4 minute walk, is across the road from a supermarket that has pretty much everything you would need and also a very nice restaurant/bar (Polar Base Bar/restaurant). It also is next...

In a privileged situation you will find the Hostel Micolau, a small (mountain) hotel surrounded by nature some spectacular views of the “ Valls del Nord” in Arinsal. The building, dated to the XIX century is one of the oldest buildings in the Arinsal village. After been totally renovated in 2009, a perfect balance has been achieved conserving the charm of a small hotel steeped in history with the design and comfort of the present day.In the winter and only 50 meters from the hostel is the gondola that takes you to the ski resort of Arinsal, one of the resorts of Vallnord, where you can practice all types of winter sports. In the summer the hotel is the perfect place to start an excursion to the Valleys of Coma Pedrosa Nature Park, (Parque Natural de los Valles de Coma Pedrosa.) and its natural surroundings of flora, fauna and high mountain peaks. The hotel is also adequate for those who practice mountain biking and would like to enjoy the Vallnord Bike Park in the summertime. ... more   less
