Arrival at the Hôtel de Paris from the heliport was seamless and grand. Federico at the front desk greeted me in style and ushered me to my little residence for the week. Thomas at the concierge confirmed reservations and details for entertainment and meals in the principality and surrounding area. He also arranged dinner at Le Louis XV, which was much appreciated.
With a fine welcome behind me, the room was meticulously prepared, featuring lovely amenities and, of course, the wonderful balcony with the Mediterranean shimmering before me. Housekeeping and other essential hotel operations functioned like a Swiss timepiece (with one small exception). Food and beverage operations were at peak levels, which I will cover in their respective reviews.
The one small wrinkle involved a mix-up with a shirt that went out with the laundry that shouldn't have. That said, the head of housekeeping personally came to speak with me at checkout and assured me that he would work with the concierge to have the shirt shipped directly home. The concierge team also displayed great resourcefulness in ensuring that the shipment arrived smoothly.
Overall, the Hôtel de Paris has never been in better shape, and I look forward to my next visit.

I was disappointed with the hotel staff and the rather slow and uncooperative concierge service for quick requests; the spa is very far from the rooms with a very long corridor, no beach and the outdoor space in front of the swimming pool for sunbathing is very small so you have to fight for a deck chair when you manage to get one which remains a rarity, a shame when choosing a hotel by the sea). Finally, you have to insist a lot on having water in your room because in this luxury hotel at a more than reasonable price you have a quarter of water per day even in the suite,.... Finally, be careful if you are on the first floor you are really on the side of the road. The hotel is beautiful and if the prices were not so high-end I would have given a higher rating because the rooms are very beautiful. Finally, the cuisine disappointed me, even the Louis XV where I found the cuisine a little heavy. Even the specialty (the soufflé) of the other restaurant lacked lightness.

We spent a week at the Hotel de Paris as a couple. We had a King suite with a terrace and view of the ocean and the Casino. Spacious and comfortable room with separate beverage and wine coolers, Apple TV on request, and 24 hour entertainment below. After two cloudy and rainy days, we had 4 days of beautiful weather and enjoyed the private pool at the rooftop. Concierge was helpful with last minute switch from helicopter plan to car service to Nice airport due to thunderstorms. Only suggestions - travelers need to be at Nice airport 3 hours ahead of international flights - getting through the sh*tshow of lines took us over 1.5 hours. And room service needs to learn how to cook omelets without them being raw or brown and provide toast that isn't burnt. We gave up and just ate croissants instead, which were excellent.

This hotel really surpassed my expectation. We recently stayed at the top Grande Dame hotel in Southern Europe a few weeks earlier for almost the same room rate (Eur1500) and everything was off. Being at this hotel, reminded me exactly what was missing there, is top notch here.
This is a hotel operating the highest standard. Rooms are impeccable - stylish, modern (and much larger than expected). Everything is maintained to a gleaming standard as if the builders just left. Staff are perfectly trained. Housekeeping say hello to everyone they see in the corridor and smile. Every member of staff steps away to give priority to guests. It's very very elegantly run. The clientele is... Monaco. But actually very refined and civilised. It's just a lovely place to be.
What surprised me was the extensiveness of the facilities. The rooftop pool is lovely, and wasn't busy. The rooftop gym was likewise great (what a view) and always empty even though the hotel was full. The much bigger spa on the lower level was much busier (but also bigger). The beach club is integrated into the Hotel (you can charge to your room, get access etc). That's a beautiful place in itself which we have been to over many years. It retains special charm. Shuttle runs every 20 mins.
Breakfast is a wonderful setting with great service, but perhaps a little underwhelming. Not a lavish spread, although what there was was good quality.
Monaco isn't my choice of destination (we had reason to be there) but it has a buzz. This is definitely the place to stay, and operating at a level that fully merits their pricing.

Rooms are super nice, pool service and overall Ambiente, however the people are very rude, the security at the front door is very aggressive and impolite, with rooms starting at 1000€ a night this should not be acceptable. Room service and housekeeping take very long - ordered towels - it took them 45 minutes to bring them. Conceirge’s and food - at good standard.

Arriving for one night in the Principality, to celebrate mom's seventy-sixth birthday, on Sunday September 3 at 12 p.m., we were greeted by one of the doormen and escorted to the reception for this fourth stay. Welcome, as always, affable: exquisite surprise, our room was ready. Or, more precisely, our suite: having booked a junior suite with city view, we benefited from an exceptional upgrade to a suite with city view! Of a large surface area and a good volume, it benefited from a pleasant little terrace with a view of the city, and the corner of the Place du Casino. A bottle of Champagne awaited us there, and, very delicately, a birthday cake was brought shortly after our arrival. For more privacy, we dined in a suite: dishes of extreme quality - identical to what could be served in a restaurant - and adorable service by a room service team entirely devoted to our pleasure, twenty-four hours a day. twenty four. The next morning, breakfast at the Em Sherif restaurant: eggs prepared fresh and on request, excellent pastries and freshly squeezed fruit juices. Here again, courteous and non-stuffy service while remaining professional. It was with regret that we left the Hotel, not without having been able to benefit from a late check-out at 4 p.m. free of charge. We were upgraded to a junior suite, and enjoyed a very fulfilling and enjoyable three nights and four days at the hotel. In particular, there were three spacious closets for storing clothes, which was very helpful for us who had a lot of luggage (five suitcases and two carry-ons). The breakfast was luxurious and varied, and we enjoyed it every day. This is a restaurant we recommend. The hotel also has Alain Ducasse and Le Grill, so it offers a wide variety of lunch and dinner options. We were able to watch the WRC rally award ceremony in front of the hotel, and enter the casino for free to enjoy games. The location was great, and we could access the brand stores around the hotel in just a few minutes.

From our arrival ro checkout, the service was absolutely first class. We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my husband's birthday and what a celebration we had! The room was spacious and the sea view from the balcony every morning was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was awesome, an abundance in quantity, variety and lots of organic and "clean eating" foods which pleased me.
The 3 days allowed us sufficient time explore Monaco and the concierge was wonderful in directing us to places we want to go.
The service in the hotel is exceptional and difficult to beat. We are greeted every time we pass a member of staff and they are very good at remembering our name!! My husband was surprised at breakfast when a serving of french toast with a candle was placed in front of him. Later in the evening, a birthday cake was delivered to the room ..... what a fantastic surprise! He was blown away!
I'm looking forward to us returning... as soon as we get the time off work.

At HDP you can access the pool only if guests of the hotel indeed. You could have an access to Thermes Monaco an internal pool plus external jacuzzi if you book a treatment. In my opinion at Thermes treatments are much better than the ones at HDP.
Also do you have a platinum membership with SBM? If yes there might be a benefits of access to Monte Carlo Beach. Definitely best pool and beach in Monaco during summer time
Not sure about such a small babies but I know they provide a babysitting service in general. Best is to write email or calling them directly - they are super kind and attentive.
There was a buffet with huge selection of fruit, veggies, freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, cheeses and pastry. Besides this you can order a la carte all you wish ( they had crepes, pancakes, eggs, avocado toasts, oatmeal…)
Coffee/ tea should also be ordered
