Clean, Beautiful and close to city camping. I would definitely camp there again. The women who runs the place is very kind and nice. Her son is not a very happy person so if he is at the desk, do not take it personal and just know some people wake up with stones in their shoes. It must be painful...

We had a great welcome. The owner was very kind, polite and friendly to us, one of the best staff we have met during our trips. Very good facilities, modern, clean and calm. The location is excelent, we can do everything by walk. Center and lake beach at 5 minutes. Hallstatt is simply amazing. Very, very beautifull little village near...

First thing I will say is that a visit to Hallstatt is must for any traveller or holiday maker looking for relaxation, beauty and interesting activities. However... Don't stay at this site. If I don't look forward to going back to the campsite after days out for a nice relaxing, comfortable evening, then something is wrong. As soon as we...

We were with friends this week in Hallstatt. Camping was clean and on good position in the city, but everything was forgotten when we saw man on the reception. He was maybe son of owner, but he was very evil, ignoring and screamed to clients and constantly he was going with knife in the camp. Somebody had to go out...

Camping is practically the only choise for Hallstatt visitors as campervan parking is forbiden in the city. Location is perfect - just ~300m from tourist info center and entrance to pedestrian only part of Hallstatt. Conditions (showers, toilets and etc.) was clean and in good shape, this place even had a special room for baby bathing and feeding with was...

It's a perfect location and unlike some others here, we found the owners to be efficient and helpful, if a little standoffish (maybe typically Austrian, who knows?) We found the facilities to be clean and well maintained - everything worked well. The biggest problem was that the site was very busy and the object appeared to be, to cram as...

Wow. I mean woooooow. Never ever ever met such arrogant, lazy, i don't care about you tourists, owners. Not going to discuss the details but you're aware now. Nevertheless. It's a beautiful environment and the only camping close to town. They have a monopoly so i guess the don't need to be friendly at all. They should put a sign'...

We travelled around Europe for 2 months and meet a lot lovely people. Unfortunately this was not one of them. The place was stunning and is def on for the bucket list. On the night of arrival a man asked us if we had booked. After telling us we hadn't he tutted and muffled something under his breath. We asked...

When we first pulled in to the campsite I was really disappointed as it felt crowded and we were given a pitch without electricity even though we'd paid for it. We were moved swiftly by the (very grumpy) owner. Once we got settled we realised that the campsite was pretty good and the showers wee kept very clean and were...

We arrived in peak season without a reservation. The lady at the desk said they were full but offered us a spot overnight in the stellplatz, but also able to connect our motorhome to the power. While the spot was on gravel and did not have any shady trees, the view was stunning and we ended up staying in the...
