Awesome views of the surrounding mountains and great service from the waitress. Asparagus was in season, so was served with a lovely cheese sauce. We had a great time and the waitress was willing to offer numerous different combinations so that we could taste the local, traditional fare.

WOnderful place, so much to offer and some interesting ruins nearby. Take a picnic lunch and soak up the history. It's peaceful and somewhere where you can relax and enjoy everything that Austria has to offer. Rooms are generous in size, clean and nice views. Staff were lovely.

We spent 13 weeks in Europe this year, and staying here was one of our top experiences. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular. There are Roman ruins just a short distance away. Allow a full morning to explore this area. Great stay!

Local specialties with an amazing view. Always worth a stop. From pork, beef and venison dishes to Bretteljause and Kärntner Nudeln. Offers rooms as well. A very popular destination from nearby Klagenfurt, especially during fall and winter when there is fog in the valley below for weeks. Close proximity to Roman archeological site and museum.

Nice local cuisine which is prepared from local ingredients (you can also buy a honey which they get from their apiary ) Everything is fresh and made with love. Nice playroom for kids. Very helpful staff (actually as far...

Absolutely wonderful place at the top of the world. The food for the wedding and the following morning breakfast was absolutely excellent. Our apartment was large and on two floors to sleep 6, spacious with kitchen and bath and toilet separate from each other. The view from this place is breath taking. They even have some animals to watch. They...

The place is great, proper traditional building and the view....speechless! The only regret is that there was no snow, and the restaurant is at 1.000m amsl. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they can speak fluently Italian and English. The food was very good, very traditional; I recommend the deer meat, so tender. Price was okay, you pay...

Stayed for one week with the family (3 kids, 4m,2yr,6yr). My 6yr old and my 2 yr old loved every bit and I felt safe letting them roam by themselves. Our apartment was clean and more than adequate. Views to die for, food was excellent. Wife had no complaints (yes, hell froze over). We will return!

The view was amazing, the food was also very good. Our suite was clean, cozy, and had all the usual comforts. The hotel also has nice amenities for kids. There is an indoor and an outdoor playground with a place for you to feed deer. The baker in the morning brought us fresh, warm bread from the oven and even...
