It is a good hotel just 400 meters away from Main station. You can walk down from the main station. Retro look hotel with nice ambience. Hotel staff is friendly and hospitable. Rooms are comfortable. This is just 1.2 km away from the city centre.

Lovely independent hotel, family run I believe and all the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke very good english (even though I tried to muddle through with my patchy grasp of German). I enjoyed the continental breakfast very much and the baroque / old world decor gives this hotel a wonderful ambience. I was travelling alone and the room I...

My husband picked out this hotel on booking.com and what a find. We had a four poster bed in our room. What a great touch. The owners of this hotel are so lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our talks with them. And they served a wonderful breakfast everyday. This hotel is about 3 blocks from the train which was...

This hotel is conveniently located close to the train station (which also includes a supermarket). This was great for us, however, if we were to return to Salzburg we would look for a hotel in or around Old Town as that's where we spent most of our time. The hotel has a family owned and run charm. Personally we missed...

A wonderful family run hotel that excels in service. Breakfast was fantastic and only a short walk from the rest of town. The room was tidy and convenient, and had good climate control. Thank you for a nice stay.

Stayed here for 5 days and have to say it was lovely. The room we had was clean & tidy it was a bit old fashioned but very Cosy, the breakfast was nice. Nothing was to much trouble the staff couldn't be more helpful. Amenities are close the bus station is just round the corner and it's about a 20...

This traditional hotel has been run by the same family for three generations and it shows. Everything runs perfectly, from the welcome & information provided on arrival, to the rooms (not massive, but fitted out to a high standard) and the breakfast. Very quiet, and closer to the centre than it might appear on the map.

Arrived to a very friendly woman at the front desk who helped us decide what to do during our short stay in Salzburg. The hotel itself was quaint but dated, arrived in the room for a bit of a culture shock, there were two front doors for added for soundproofing and the room was quite dated. It was very clean...

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance (20-25 min) to the old part of Salzburg where cars are not allowed. This is something worth noting that we didn't know about before planning our trip. Even in the rain and wind, it was a pleasant walk for all 4 of us. The folks who ran the hotel were absolutely...

We used TA to find this hotel based on ratings and proximity (5 minutes) walk from the main train station and were more than pleasantly surprised. The family is third generation and hard-working to make every detail just right. The rooms - we had a double - are large and spacious and ours (a corner room #204) had a 4-poster...
