Design Hotel in great location, right at the main bridge of Salzburg in the historic city center. The festival halls, as well as the congress centre are only a few minutes away. Stylish rooms and 7th floor roof top terrace with great view.

The hotel is well located but we could barely sleep because the room was hot and as a guest you cannot control the temperature because when the heat is on, you cannot turn on the fan or a/c - they blocked it. You can open the windows but the hotel is right on a major road and by

The location of the hotel is simply perfect, close to everything and easy to get to. Reception was very friendly and our room was nice - however, when there was a technical issue, they didnt only go out of their way to help us but also offered us a bigger room without us asking.

Ignore the commenter who suggested tram number 3/6. There are no trams in Salzburg, only trolleybuses (overhead lines, but no tracks). The bus numbers suggested are from the train station, not the airport. To get to Hotel Stein from the airport by public transport, take trolleybus (O-bus) number 10 and get off at Ferdinand Hanuschplatz. Hotel Stein is then the other side of the river, just a short walk across the main bridge. Note: bus tickets are much cheaper if you buy them in advance from a tobacconist shop, there is one at the airport.

Is the outdoor terrace bar open year round?
I am not sure if it is. We were there in October and there were heating lamps there. Also, they were providing customers with blankets. Senior on a Budget
