This place was more like a dormitory and very homey. The rooms were clean. We had a very big bedroom for 2, it's very spacious. The shower room was also clean, it was inside the room. Outside the bedroom, we had dining room, also the kitchen. We could also watch TV (although all shows were in German Language). Breakfast were... More

This is a very clean place to stay. It is not at all fancy, it is a dorm, so think hostel. The room was big with lots of storage and shelves. One window catching afternoon sun. The first day and night it was very hot and sweaty. We learned to shut it all up during the day, open the window... More

Pros: Perfect location across Salzach river from the old town, supermarket nearby, walking distance to Mirabelle Gardens, clean and modern private bath, fully equipped, modern common kitchen, elevator, washer and dryer, adequate breakfast, compartamentalized refrigerator available, lots of common areas to hang out- library, music room, rooftop terrace for a good view of the city. Cons: Appointments needed to use the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Location is perfect in the old part of town. Walked to most tourist locations. Breakfast (cold, nothing hot except the coffee!) was adequate. Mostly students stay here. There are guest rooms for other travelers. On prior notice, you can do laundry here cheaply - that's a boon! The room for the two of us... More

Quiet and cheap, we booked a private room and it was huge. Very minimalist but you're not here to hang out in the room. Beds were comfortable. Not the best location but for the $ you can save staying here, its worth an extra 5 min walk.

I loved staying here. The location was prefect! The room was nice and clean and a large private bath too. This is a dorm! SO the rooms you get is a dorm room not a hotel. I liked everything about this place.

Institut St Sebastian is right in downtown Salzburg, just a 5 minute walk to the old city, the Dom and the train to Festung Hohensalzburg. It's located on the grounds of St Sebastian church -- where Mozart's father and wife are buried. The room was quiet, comfortable and very clean. We left the windows open for a breeze and to... More

This was probably my favorite place to stay on our two week trip, even with twin beds! Incredibly clean, lots of room, quiet, and very helpful at front desk. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked. Air conditioning was great, but we still slept with the windows open to hear the bells. Great place, I would definitely stay there again!

We loved St. Sebastion institute. Yes it was a dorm room with a private bath and it was cheap. But the building, cemetery, church and grounds were interesting and beautiful. The location was suburb . Shops and restaurants right outside the door with cobbled streets and a few short blocks to everything of interest in Salzburg. As there is only... More

I studied abroad through AIFS for a month, in which we stayed here for 4 weeks. The best experience. Great location, front desk was so helpful and friendly, wifi, cleaned the rooms, felt so safe. I was given keys, one of which is to a small fridge and cabinet to store my groceries. It was right in the heart of... More
