I was only in this hotel for one night but I was treated with the utmost hospitality, kindness, and compassion. This morning I was the last person to have breakfast and the concierge so graciously brought me everything I needed: yogurt, fruit, tea, eggs, you name it. Due to some major issues that I had with the Hotel Hauspergnerhof (see...

Check-in / Check-out - Check-in process was chaotic but it was not the fault of the hotel. A large group of school students showed up just when we reached the hotel and it took us about 20 minutes to even reach the front desk. We had inadvertently selected a room with two separate beds, but the front desk was able...

The hotel is very close to the main train station and only a 15 minute walk into central town. Its very clean inside and we were greeted by a lovely staff member called Johan. He was very helpful and suggested some great places to eat as well. The foyer of the hotel does have a rather bright green couch. A...

Booked two double rooms with double beds, emailed to confirm double room & bed booking. Upon arrival were informed that they were not going to honour the agreement and instead we would have to accept bunk bed style rooms. Despite repeated assurances via email that two double rooms with double beds had been booked and that they would be ready...

The 4-star designation of this hotel is a very strange one. The only serious amenities that elevate it above the bed-and-breakfast grade are 24-hour bar and a shower cap that each guest gets together with toiletries. All the others are normal b’n’b services/stuff. On the other hand, room prices are also more pertinent to b’n’b type of accommodation, so once...

This hotel have stayed true to their original design and let carpets and furniture stay as is was when the the hotel was opened. The green theme was maybe a bit different from what you find in most hotels today but will be something you'll remember. Good sized bedroom- bathroom ok and beds was good. To pay for wifi these...

If you can get your head around the psychedelic carpeting and the neon green lobby fabric, there is quite a decent hotel to be found. The temperature is also near- boiling but there are a number of plusses: The hotel is in a quiet area unlike some, so no road noise There is in-room tea!!! A rare commodity in Austria...

They offer parking which was very secure and inexpensive. The room was large for Europe and the breakfast was excellent our waitress was outstanding and so sweet to my little grandson. The price was reasonable however, the desk clerk at checkout double charged my credit card. I noticed it directly and told him however, he assured me he hadn't. I...

Hotel Scherer is very convenient to the train station, which is what we wanted. That means it's also convenient to all sorts of buses into town, or, if you prefer, it's not a bad walk. There's also a shopping mall next to the train station. There are stores and a great coffee and sandwich shop (Coffee Fellows) in the mall...

This hotel is convenient to train station which we always like when Eurailing it - you an get to your room quickly. Dad and I had single rooms which were very clean, super comfortable and a great value. You can walk to town in 10 minutes. Unassuming street but if you're there to get out and about, it's great.
