This hotel is about as well located as could be. It is at edge of the old city, near the river, on a main street, near shopping. Rooms are very modern and in very good shape. Bed is slightly worn with indentation, not as firm as I would like. Wifi is OK most of the time, but sometimes slow. Front...

We stayed 2 nights and were very happy with the hotel. Lovely newly-refurbished rooms, quiet, free wifi. As someone else has commented, the glass door on the bathroom, although frosted, didn't leave much to the imagination. Probably a good place to not share a room with someone you don't know well. Staff were very helpful, and gave us the best...

the hotel is located in the very center of Innsbruck: you just have to turn around the corner and you have reached the pedestrian zone of the old town. Parking facilities exists at the sister hotel, which is only a hundred meters away. The rooms are completely new and arranged with great style. But the best is to come in...

Hotel was perfect. Great location just steps to the old town. Everything recently renovated with great style and attention to detail. Room was large, beds comfortable and totally silent at night. Breakfast was great too. Best of all was the staff. They run the place as if they were part owners and go out of their way to make sure...

This is a superb hotel: beautifully designed throughout - that is the first impression but the staff's welcome and care are more than a match. Wonderful breakfasts: fantastic selection of fresh fruits and multiple choice of honeys to go with the range of fresh breads. With its great location in the heart of the old town, what more could you...

We stayed for one night at Hotel Maximilian. The hotel is located a short distance to the old city which made our short stay easy and enjoyable. The reception staff was polite and helpful. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. My only criticism was that the bathroom offered almost no personal privacy.

We have just spent four nights at the Maximilian, and I cannot fault it, other than a slight lack of shortage of storage in the rooms. It is modern yet retains old features; everything is spotlessly clean; breakfast is good (including the much reported fruit) and the location is central. But the main thing about the hotel is the staff....

We spent three enjoyable nights in the Maximilian. The hotel is modern, yet comfortable and cosy. Our double room was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The bathroom was rather small but fine for our needs. As noted by other respondents, the breakfast was amazingly good, particularly the large range of different fruit, the lovely fresh rolls and home-made jam....
